It feels like we only just had this theme so coming up with another cover was not easy. I’ve had to go with a book off my shelves that I haven’t read yet: Sharp Ends by Joe Abercrombie (it was either that or a James Bond book).

I had to go classic with this – The Birds by Daphne Du Maurier – horror!

I had to go for this one – some of these birds have had to become contortionists to spell out the title on this cover (but, I hasten to add, no actual birds were hurt during the making of this cover).

School “I never let my schooling interfere with my education”
Yes, my obvious choice this week was Harry Potter but I decided not. Then I thought perhaps The School of Good and Evil – but only one cover – dang. So instead, this week I’ve gone for Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins. I only read the first in series – a school for people who are gifted – by which I mean, witches, shapeshifter and the like.
Anyways check out some of these covers – I had a bit of a giggle with some of these!

Well, to be honest, I’m not overly keen on any of these covers so I’ve gone for the simplistic one.

Playing cards “Life is not a matter of holding good cards, but of playing a poor hand well” or – Spring: a cover that is mainly the colour green.
Haha – this was a toughie. Now, this may be a slight cheat because I’ve gone for books with cards on them but, okay, these are tarot cards – well, I’m going with it. I’m a big cheater! But, just to make up for that I’m giving you book 1 and 2 so you can decide which style you like best. I’ve only read the first in series but do have No.2 and plan to catch up soon:
This is difficult to choose between, I definitely do like the tarot style covers but these two right here really do grab the attention, I just love them:
