For the month of May I am going to try and take part in a daily drawing challenge organised by @pabkins and @badaliceshop. These will only be sketches but if you check out the #artitupwithfriends hashtag you’ll see some really excellent pieces of art! Each day the aim is to sketch or draw using the word for the day. Today is ‘Masks’! This is a sinister and sweet themed month. Tomorrow’s prompt is ‘Midnight’.
Today is a sort of continuation of yesterday’s dark princess – I’m going with ‘Snow White the Cannibal’ – if that’s a bit too much for you there’s a little happy sketch below – to help you forget the first image!

No.18 Mask #Drawlloween

Today is day 18 of Drawlloween – a fun event that I found out about here on the lovely ‘Not Yet Read’. So, my take on a mask kind of turned out a little odd. I was aiming for one of those masks where the person holds it up in front of their face and I was going for something sinister. Looking at it now it kind of looks more like a wine glass with the reflection of someone who’s just realised that all the wine has gone!! But here it is:
