Once again I am counting down to the New Year, as with the previous two years I shall be highlighting at least one book per day to fit the prompt on that given day. The main aim for this countdown is to highlight some of my reads during the past year and to shine the spotlight on them once again (although some of the prompts relate to forthcoming reads). Today is day 28 of the countdown to 2025 and a list of prompts can be found here if you wish to join me in counting down to 2025 and casting a spotlight on some of your favourite books (if you join in please leave me a link so I can check out your book choices).
Today’s Prompt : Candlelight – a book that kept you up into the early hours
This book definitely kept me up into the small hours and is one of my favourite books this year.

Tomorrow’s prompt: A Roaring Fire – a book that was heartwarming

Today is day 28 of my countdown to 2024. Using a series of prompts each day I will post a book title that I believe fits the prompt. The aim is to highlight as many books as possible that I read from 2023 and shine the spotlight on them once again (although for some prompts I will be looking at future reads). A list of prompts can be found here if you wish to join me in counting down to 2024.
Today’s prompt: Candlelight – a book that kept you up into the early hours

For today’s prompt I’ve chosen a book that I really enjoyed. Alice Feeney is a fairly new to me author but I’m loving her work – first Daisy Darker and now Good Bad Girl. Highly recommended. I can’t wait to see what this author comes up with next.

Today is day 28 of my countdown to 2023. Today’s prompt is ‘Candlelight’. The prompts can be found here if you want to join in. I’m hoping to use mostly books read this year. Let’s begin:
CANDLELIGHT (A book that kept you up into the early hours)
This book is just so fitting for the prompt. It’s a book that I really enjoyed by a favourite author and it was a twisted rollercoaster of a read. Insomnia by Sarah Pinborough – does this fit the prompt or what?!

Tomorrow: Christmas Cactus – A seasonal read
