Here we are again with the Friday Face Off meme created by Books by Proxy . This is a great opportunity to feature some of your favourite book covers. The rules are fairly simple each week, following a predetermined theme (list below) choose a book (this doesn’t have to be a book that you’ve read), compare a couple of the different covers available for that particular book and choose your favourite. Firstly, I’m still playing catch up and catching up with blog hopping and comments but slowly but surely I’m making progress.
This is one of the themes I came up with to coincide with the sci fi event taking place during November so hope you’ve all come up with something good. I’ve gone fairly old school with this with a book that is both sci fi and fantasy. Curious? Dragonflight (Dragonriders of Pern #1) by Anne McCaffrey. Here are this week’s covers:

None of the Jungle People like being disturbed.
Firstly, I’ve been a bit swamped this week so I’m behind with reading and blogging, not to mention blog hopping. Hopefully, things will be much calmer in the very near future which will give me chance to catch up – so things didn’t get calmer and I’m still very behind but the forthcoming week should definitely give me chance to catch up.
I didn’t struggle this week, in fact I had a few books in mind so hope everyone else did too. I went for The Woods by Vanessa Savage. This is a fairly recent read so not a lot of covers but it fits the theme and I like to give attention to some of my newer books. Here are the covers:
This and the orange cover are very similar but I prefer the layout of this cover. The first cover I actually really like but I find the title a little off somehow. Can’t pin it down.

I had a few ideas for this week’s theme so hope everyone didn’t struggle. I think I was originally thinking of something that look like a torn cover but this week I’ve chosen :Age of Assassins (The Wounded Kingdom #1) by R.J. Barker. Such a great series that I highly recommend and here are the covers:

So, did everyone find this one easy or not?? I had a couple in mind, of course, the age old problem of only one cover reared its ugly head. I still had a couple of possibilities but this week I went with a classic. Great Expectations by Charles Dickens – which I really love. Here are the covers:
