Books read this week:
This week has flown by so quickly that I’m in a bit of a whirlwind. In terms of books I’m still reading A Letter to the Luminous Deep by Silvie Cathrall, I think at this point it hasn’t quite pulled me in but tbh I was expecting a slowish start with this one so will press on. I read Incidents Around the House by Josh Malerman – I liked this but I’m also still thinking about it, I’m kind of torn. And, I’ve picked up another SPFBO book and I’m doing really quite well with it just about reaching the 30% mark. I’m hoping to read one more SPFBO book this month and finish Luminous Deep. Of course if I can fit in another SPFBO book that would be great – but, I’m being realistic and with such a lot going on at the moment in every day life I realise it’s probably unlikely.
Next Week’s Reads:
Hopefully complete A Letter to the Luminous Deep by Silvie Cathrall and also finish two more SPFBO finalists – then I need to start posting reviews.

Books read this week:
This week I managed to complete two books. I finished The Vipers by Katy Hays and also completed A Fortune Most Fatal by Jessica Bull. I’ve now started A Letter to the Luminous Deep by Silvie Cathrall – I’m in the very early stages but hopefully going to read some more of that one this evening.
Next Week’s Reads:
Hopefully complete A Letter to the Luminous Deep by Silvie Cathrall and then I have one more review book to read this month and two SPFBO Finalists to complete before the end of March. So I’ll just see where the mood takes me.

Books read this week:
This week has been busy. I’m well over the cold fortunately and out and about quite a bit so not too much reading unfortunately. Since my last update I’ve read and enjoyed Clockwork Boys by T Kingfisher. I started a few of my other reads but wasn’t getting on very well with anything. Obviously a mood thing. I’ve started The Vipers by Katy Hays which is so far quite good.
Next Week’s Reads:
Complete The Vipers by Katy Hays and also, hopefully, A Letter to the Luminous Deep by Sylvie Cathrall.

Books read this week:
This week has been good in terms of reading – unfortunately, I seem to have caught a cold which is quite unpleasant but hopefully I’ll shake it off soon. I’ve been doing some catching up, visiting all your lovely blogs to see what I’ve missed and also responding to comments. I’ve posted two reviews this week and I probably need to post three more next week. I also need to make a start on reviewing my SPFBO books and I’m hoping to squeeze in one more title before the end of February. In books – I completed Emily Wilde’s Compendium of Lost Tales by Heather Fawcett. I’ve loved this series and this was a very satisfying conclusion (at least I think it’s the conclusion). I’ll be posting a review next week. I also read, and already reviewed, Wooing the Witch Queen by Stephanie Burgis. This was a lovely romantasy, cosy with low stakes. Check out my review here. I then picked up Black Woods, Blue Sky by Eowyn Ivey, this is quite a sad read, or at least that’s how I felt about it. Beautifully written and very atmospheric. Finally, I picked up Greenteeth by Molly O’Neill, which I’m absolutely loving and can’t wait to dive back into.
Finish Greenteeth and then I’d like to try and fit in one more review book and maybe another SPFBO finalist (perhaps one of the shorter books – there are some very chunky finalists this year).

Books read this week:
So, this week was chaotic. So much going on and such a lot to do, it’s been fun but I’m hoping next week will be much quieter and finally give me the chance to catch up with a few things – maybe not everything. Since my last Sunday post I managed to complete the SPFBO finalist I was reading (I now have four finalists to review and rate which I’ll be getting round to soon). I also read The Crimson Road by AG Slatter which was fantastic, I absolutely loved it and will be posting about it shortly. I’ve also made a start on Emily Wilde’s Compendium of Lost Tales by Heather Fawcett.
Finish the Emily Wilde’s Compendium of Lost Tales and then I have a few lovely books to choose from. I’m thinking I’d like to pick up The Sirens by Emilia Hart and also Black Woods, Blue Sky by Eowyn Ivey.
