Top Ten Tuesday : Anticipated Reading List

ttt

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme where every Tuesday we look at a particular topic for discussion and use various (or more to the point ten) bookish examples to demonstrate that particular topic.  Top Ten Tuesday (created and hosted by  The Broke and Bookish) is now being hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and future week’s topics can be found here.  This week’s topic :

Most Anticipated Releases of the Second Half of 2021

Okay, so I recently posted for TTT books I’d be reading for summer – which you can find here.  Today I’m going to look at some of the other books on my shelves that I’m looking forward to picking up, these basically continue where my summer reads left off.  (Obviously I’m also looking forward to more of my SPFBO books but I will be posting about those separately.

  1. Paper and Blood by Kevin Hearne
  2. The Pariah by Anthony Ryan
  3. Empire of the Vampire by Jay Kristoff (Sampler)
  4. The House of Dust by Noah Broyles
  5. Once Upon a Broken Heart by Stephanie Garber
  6. Comfort Me With Apples by Catherynne M. Valente
  7. Midnight in Everwood by M.A. Kuzniar
  8. The Hidden by Melanie Golding
  9. All of Us Villains by Christine Herman; Amanda Foody
  10. Survive the Night by Riley Sager

So, what’s on your list this week?

Looks like I’m looking forward to a lot of the same books you are! I’m gonna have to look into Once Upon a Broken Heart and Midnight in Everwood though, those are new to me and they look lovely.

So many good books due out for the rest of the year. I’m going to have to post something separate because I love posts like that.

I’ve been eyeing Pariah for some time now, and waiting for a space to open for it on my crowded TBR: having heard so many positive comments on Anthony Ryan’s works, I’m eager to read it.
And of course I also find Empire of the Vampire quite irresistible: how could I not with a title like that? 😉

I can’t wait to pick up Empire of the Vampire. I’ve picked up the Sampler (which is unusual for me because I prefer the whole book) but – it’s 300 pages! I hadn’t realised the book was such a chunkster. Anyway, can’t wait to pick that one up. I’m all good and ready for some vampires and I imagine, have read Kristoff before, that this could be quite bloody.
      Lynn 😀

I can’t wait for Comfort Me With Apples and Empire of the Vampire. Its going to be a great second half of 2021😁

    • @lynnsbooks

Oh yes, and I have a sampler for Empire of the Vampires – which is 300 pages long which I am gagging to pick up.
      Lynn 😀

I’m really looking forward to Survive the Night.

All of Us Villains and Comfort Me with Apples look so good! So many great books to look forward to!

I can’t wait for so many of these! I love the look of paper and blood and I hadn’t heard of the pariah but I might look into it now! The cover is gorgeous. Here’s my ttt! https://hundredsandthousandsofbooks.blog/2021/06/29/ttt-29-6-21-most-anticipated-releases/

I’m very excited for some of these and definitely looking forward to Pariah – I’ve read and enjoyed the author before.
      Lynn 😀

Empire of the Vampire is definitely one I’m going to want to read, and I love that cover.
It’s the first time I’ve heard of All of Us Villains but just the title alone makes me want to know more 😀

    • @lynnsbooks

I can’t wait to read of some downright dastardly vampires.
      Lynn 😀
