Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme where every Tuesday we look at a particular topic for discussion and use various (or more to the point ten) bookish examples to demonstrate that particular topic. Top Ten Tuesday (created and hosted by The Broke and Bookish) is now being hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and future week’s topics can be found here. This week’s topic :
Books On My Summer 2021 TBR
Okay, in my particular neck of the woods Summer runs from June 21st until September 22nd – yes, I looked those dates up and I literally cannot believe they are so specific! But, having found them out I feel like I should stick to those dates. So, this week is going to be more than 10 books – because I have quite a few books on my plate this Summer that I’m excited to share that fall in between these dates. Here goes, all titles linked to Goodreads so you can check out the synopsis:

September

On top of this I will be continuing with my two buddy reads and also reading more of my SPFBO books – details to be revealed at the start of each month.
Are you looking forward to any of these? What plans do you have for Summer reading?
So many of these are on my list. Master Mind seems like a good summer read, I’m saving it for when I need a good pick me up! Also need to read Final Girl Support Group and The Retreat, both which I think I’ll do in audio. Then there’s the epic fantasy like Empire’s Ruin and She Who Became the Sun…I’m going to have to space those out 😀
We have such a lot of good books to look forward to this summer. I’m really looking forward to all of these.
Lynn 😀
I feel like there are probably some amazing books coming up but I haven’t been up on releases. I’ll probably get lots of ideas this week!
Yes, that’s definitely a possibility with TTT – I always find my tbr increases.
Lynn 😀
When I saw Triflers Need Not Apply, I finally figured out it’s In the Garden of Spite, with a name change! (I was excited at first because I thought she had a new book out) Great list, I am excited for a lot of these.
I know – I was so puzzled by the different name, and I ‘ve noticed it a few times recently, for example the Laura Purcell book.
Lynn 😀
Oh I definitely have my eye on She Who Became the Sun!
It seems to be receiving very positive reviews which is encouraging.
Lynn 😀
Great TBR! I just preordered The Final Girl Support Group, so I hope to read that one, too.
That’s one that I’m particularly looking forward to. Hope we love it.
Lynn 😀
Thanks! 🙂
I’m so excited for The WItness for the Dead — I’m rereading The Goblin Emperor right now, and loving it all over again. Enjoy your summer reads!
I hope you’ve managed to pick it up and loved it? I read the Goblin Emperor fairly recently – I must have been one of the last people to read it! – so basically it was still quite fresh. The two are quite different.
Lynn 😀
Oh I also really want to read She Who Became the Sun!
My list!
It sounds so good.
Lynn 😀
Witness for the Dead and She Who Became the Sun are both on my TBR! I’m hoping I love Witness for the Dead as much as I loved The Goblin Emperor.
From what I’ve heard of She Who Became the Sun, it’s going to be a heartbreaker. Can’t wait (:
I enjoyed Witness for the Dead – I found it quite different from the Goblin Emperor so will be interested to see what you make of it.
Lynn 😀
Good luck and happy reading with this extensive list, as well as your buddy reads and SPFBO books. I am again taking part in 10 Books of Summer 😎
Good luck with your summer reads Jessica – I look forward to reading your reviews.
Lynn 😀
