If you want to take part, basically, every Wednesday, we highlight a book that we’re really looking forward to. This week my book is : Cytonic (Skyward #3) by Brandon Sanderson. I’ve loved the first two books so I was really excited when I saw this one due for release in November:

I’m loving it so can’t wait.
But, at the end of the day, there isn’t enough time to be reading all the series is there?

Hmm, I’ve tried to read Sanderson before but somehow his books just don’t “click” with me. I feel that he either gets too technical about his magical world-building or perhaps his books are more old school by today’s SFF standards? Dunno. I really like his Writing Excuses podcast and some of his YouTube videos though — he seems to be so knowledgeable about the SFF world.
Yes, he’s a really interesting guy. I went to listen to him talk and he’s so straightforward and very generous with his advice.
I know what you mean, he does have a way of writing that can feel a little technical but I think that’s one of the things I like about his work – it just isn’t for everyone.
