Oh My Giddy Aunt – how many great books are due out next year! A. LOT. I had no problem with this post – here are but a few books to tempt your fancy (Whoops, I went over slightly):

With Blood Upon the Sand (The Song of the Shattered Sands #2)
-
Winter of the Gods (Olympus Bound #2) by Jordanna Max Brodsky – due February 2017
- The Bear and the Nightingale by Katherine Arden – due January 2017
- Behind Her Eyes by Sarah Pinborough – due January 2017
- City of Miracles (The Divine Cities #3) by Robert J Bennett – due April 2017
- Heartstone by Elle Katharine White – due January 2017
- The Ninth Rain (The Winnowing Flame Trilogy #1) by Jen Williams – due February 2017
- Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman – due February 2017
- Brimstone by Cherie Priest – due April 2017
- Gilded Cage by Vic James – due February 2017
Okay – I went over – but I really could have gone on, and on!
And, for those of you who like the bright and sparkly things, feast your eyes on these:
Wow, seven of these are already on my wishlist. I can’t wait to get my hands on Brimstone. Great list and it looks like you’ll have lots of great reading ahead!
Awesome list, Lynn! I want to read ALL of these as well, even though they didn’t all make my list. I completely forgot about The Bear and the Nightingale. It’s also one of my favorite covers of the bunch. Here’s to an amazing year of books!
i am so looking forward to Blood Upon the Sand! Greatt list!
I’m really excited for The Bear and the Nightingale! Not particular reason why; I just have this feeling that its going to be really good.
Me too 😀
While I read your list I kept thinking that I had heard of some of those titles before. Hmmm…Where, I wondered? It was probably you, of course! 😉 I love the cover of Heartstone.
Heartstone does look and sound like a great book. And, yes, most of these books have already appeared on my Waiting on Wednesday posts.

I’m doing my annual Most Anticipated list tomorrow – With Blood Upon the Sand & City of Miracles are definitely on there
I can’t wait for both of those books. So excited.
Lynn 😀
I am hearing a lot of hype going into the bear and the nightingale, and I cannot wait to read it! The Gilded Cage is on my tbr too!
They do both look lovely. I’m very excited for both.
Lynn 😀
Yes, indeed: a list of ten is far too small for all the titles we like to gloat over Gollum-style… 😀
The preciousssssss……
Lynn 😀
Heartstone is one that almost made my list this week. There are just too many intriguing 2017 releases out there! Great list.
Yes, indeed, 2017 looks as though it’s going to be very book busy!
Lynn 😀
Norse Mythology is definitely one of the most anticipated. The ninth rain sounds rly good, I’m adding it to my ever-growing TBR! Great list 🙂
ooh, Jen Williams – she is so good. I can’t wait for her new series and I hope you love it too.
Lynn 😀
I hope you are able to get your hands on some of these books you are looking forward to 🙂
Thanks Jessica – by the way did HP arrive??
Yes HP arrived a few days ago, thank you 🙂
Cool – didn’t know whether I might get caught up with the Xmas post fury!
I’m looking forward to reading Behind Her Eyes – I’ll be watching for it!
Yeah, me too – it feels like I’ve been reading good things about that for ages – I wants it!
Lynn 😀
I’m really looking forward to the new Gaiman book, it should be interesting!
I totally agree – I’m looking forward to seeing what he does with Norse mythology.
Lynn 😀
I have the Norse mythology book on preorder — really looking forward to it! I’m looking forward to Gilded Cage as well. Enjoy!
I’ve just started the Gilded Cage and so far it’s interesting.
Lynn 😀
Pretty much almost everything here is what I’m looking forward to as well. Probably easier to say what is NOT on my list, haha 🙂 (Neil Gaiman and The Ninth Rain, and the latter only because I need to be good and not start a new series by Williams until I’m finished Copper Cat!)
I hear you – I have quite a few series to catch up with that i feel guilty about.
Lynn 😀
I hope that you love these books!
Thanks – I do have high expectations but I hope so too.
Lynn 😀
Oh, man. That cover on Gilded Cage is gorgeous!
It really does draw the eye doesn’t it – I wanted that book even before I read the synopsis.
Lynn 😀
Like you, I CANNOT wait for Norse Mythology!!! Eek!
I know – Gaiman and Norse Mythology. I don’t know if I can stand the wait!
Lynn 😀
