Tough Travel by Nathan at the Fantasy Review Barn (every Thursday)
Love that Wesley Chu book cover. Wow!
You got some good reading done during the month…and didn’t add too many purchased books to the pile to read. Well done! 🙂
I’m trying to cut down on requesting as well but I did spot some really good books this months so went a little overboard.
Lynn 😀
LOVE the Darkhaven cover. And what a great month 🙂
I’m trying to average 8-10 books. Went a bit more crazy than I like requesting books this month – but there were some really good ones that I couldn’t resist.
Lynn 😀
Looks like another good month of reading and events. I’ll be interested to see what you think of The Devil’s Only Friend by Dan Wells. I read the first 2 books in this series. Then sadly seemed to forget about the rest of series even though I thought they were very good. Happy reading in June 🙂
Thanks – that’s interesting about the Dan Wells – I don’t know why but I thought it could be read as a standalone – do you think that’s possible or is it a series that has to be read from the start?
Lynn 😀
I believe I read them in the wrong order too! It is the same character but it was in two different sort of situations. I think you will probably be okay to read it as a standalone novel. Will just miss some of the character development.
Cool – thanks for letting me know.
Lynn 😀
I’ve been thinking about Insect Farm, it sounds really intriguing! I’ve only held off because I have so many other books lined up. But I bet I’ll cave 🙂 I’ve been thinking of reading Written in Red, curious to see wha you think of that one
Yeah I either wanted to start Written in Red or Rosemary and Rue – I still might pick up the other series as well.
I quite like the look of Insect Farm so I hope it’s good.
Lynn 😀
Looks like you had a pretty good month! 😀 Here’s hoping June’s even better!
Yeah, you too 😀
Reblogged this on The Little Blue Balloon.
Thanks 😀
Written in Red!!!!! Read it and then we must fangirl on Twitter together. I will be shocked – shocked I say! – if you don’t love it. 😀
If you love it then I’m sure I will too. Looking forward to reading that one very much. Currently reading Vampire Empire and really enjoying it – have you read any of these?
