She elfs and pumpkin dudes…

Fan Art Up is a weekly meme hosted by Tabitha over at Not Yet Read.  The idea being to see if you can come up with some inspiration for a little sketch or doodle from your last week’s reading or just anything else in general. This week I’m reading various ‘halloweeny’ books.  I’ve finished The Reviver and am now reading The Fall.  Lacking ideas from my reading I attempted a ‘she elf’ roughly taken from Tauriel – but managing to look nothing like her – unless you stand really far away and squint!  I’ve also drawn a seasonal Dude Doodle.  Either I’ve made him very small or I’ve made the pumpkin very large.  Well – you get the idea….he would not be happy if I ever dressed him up – hence the expression!

What are you talking about I knew exactly the weeks you were drawing from the recent Hobbit second movie right. She looks a lot like her. I could never do that!

    Such a cute dog

I actually enjoy the Dude Doodles – they’re just so easy! I’m basically too lazy! I make mistakes and can’t be bothered correcting them and consequently I get more and more disappointed – I’m the master of my own misery! All your lovely crochet critters and beautiful yarn pictures – I would want them to be finished after five minutes!

      Thanks
The perspective on the elf is all wrong! I’m so lazy that I infuriate myself sometimes – I just cba correcting mistakes as i go along and just keep trying to ignore them – never quite works!

I could tell it was Tauriel! The Dude Doodle is so cute!

The Dude Doodle’s are so easy – I could literally do one every day with ease! Tauriel, well, what can I say – I’m just incredibly lazy!!
Thanks though – it’s really nice to know that she was recognised.
      Lynn 😀
