Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme where every Tuesday we look at a particular topic for discussion and use various (or more to the point ten) bookish examples to demonstrate that particular topic. Top Ten Tuesday (created and hosted by The Broke and Bookish) is now being hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and future week’s topics can be found here. This week’s prompt is:
Cover Freebie
As Books Bones and Buffy is still hosting the ‘Summer of Horror‘ I thought I would go with a selection of horror covers, specifically with Vampires in mind. There’s something for everyone here, ranging from grisly to cosy. Take a look and see what you think:
I’m here for a vampire read. I’ve read A Dowry of Blood and So Thirsty, but I definitely want to check the others out.
I went off vampire stories for a little while but I’m back on board again now and also always here for them.
Lynn 😀
I love this! I have read a bunch of these and I love how many different types of vampire stories are represented. 😁
Yes, and these are all relatively recent.

Ooh C.J. Tudor has a vampire novel? Having just tried my first title by her I’ll definitely be adding that one to my TBR. I also cant wait to reach the vampire story in the Sourdough Universe and am particularly curious to see what Silvia Moreno-Garcia does with the genre. Lovely cover choices and the Vivian Shaw series has me so intrigued.
I really enjoyed Certain Dark Things in fact it still remains one of my favourite books by the author. And, I’m really enjoying CJ Tudor’s books too.
Lynn 😀
These are all so cool! I think Bless Your Heart is the coolest though. The retro style, the wink, the bite, the colours. It just screams.. fun. 😛
I know, I love that cover.
Lynn 😀
Love it! I see some favorites here too!
There’s been some good vampire stories fairly recently, I didn’t reallise there had been this many until I started making this list.
