Top Ten Tuesday : Authors that I Still Have Not Read

Ohhh, you must do yourself a favor and start with Martha Wells and the MurderBot Diaries: there is too much fun in there for your to miss it! 😉

Yes, this is a series that I’ve promised myself I’ll read. I just need to make the time. Or just squeeze one book in a month maybe.
      Lynn 😀

They are all fairly short books – more novellas than anything else – so you should not have any problem fitting them between larger tomes 🙂

Tuck Everlasting is one of my favorites. It’s so, so good!

Brilliant. That’s good to know. I clearly had this as a recommendation from someone many moons ago and bought a copy but just need to give my head a wobble!
      Lynn 😀

I’ve only read Erin Morgenstern but her work isn’t for me at all.

Yes, the Night Circus seems to be one of those marmite books that has very mixed reviews.

I just read The Sun Down Motel and liked it a lot. It was my first book by the author.

Yes, it has such a lot of positive review. I need to read the author soon.
      Lynn 😀

The Night Circus is awesome…so atmospheric and haunting. I, too, want to read Mary Stewart and Simone St James.

Some of these surprise me! You must read Nicholas Eames, Blake Crouch and especially Simone St. James😁

The first two, definitely the first two, and Turton’s first book, Evelyn Hardcastle, if you haven’t read that one.
I haven’t read that Blake Crouch book, it’s on my TBR along with Recursion, but I did enjoy the Pines series.
I remember loving The Night Circus too.

Oh, I could have sworn you’ve read Murderbot! Well then, you know what to do! Dont’ wait to pick it up 🙂

    • @lynnsbooks's avatar @lynnsbooks

Yes, it has such great reviews – and I already have at least the first one – maybe more but I can’t remember, have a sneaky suspicion I have the first three. Time.
      Lynn 😀

I highly recommend Murderbot. It’s fun. And Kings of the Wyld was a fun one too. I recommend it.
Night Circus was great for me, but I know it’s hit or miss for most folks. The setting, the circus, is the focus. I think if that enchants you when reading, then you’ll end up loving the book.

I actually think The Night Circus would work for me even though it seems to divide opinion.

Hi Lynn, while I have not read Touch Not the Cat, I have loved many of Mary Stewart’s suspense novels, so would recommend bumping that up your pile. 😊

Lots of great authors here. I just binged on the Murderbot diaries. They work great as audio too
