Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme where every Tuesday we look at a particular topic for discussion and use various (or more to the point ten) bookish examples to demonstrate that particular topic. Top Ten Tuesday (created and hosted by The Broke and Bookish) is now being hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and future week’s topics can be found here. This week’s topic is:
Books I Hope Santa Brings
So, yesterday I posted about the books I wanted to read during 2021 but didn’t manage to pick up, so obviously today I’m talking about all the other books that I still want and are sitting on my wishlist. Oh the irony. This list will be easy – the only problem will be sticking to ten books (all these books are from blogger recs – for which my everlasting gratitude – you keep my tbr alive!).
Catherine, Called Birdy by Karen Cushman
These Silent Woods by Kimi Cunningham
Grave Reservations by Cherie Priest
Ten Low by Stark Holborn
The Frozen Crown by Greta Kelly
Cuckoo Song by Frances Hardinge
The Witch’s Heart by Genevieve Gornichec
Ring Shout by P. Djèlí Clark
Titanshade by Dan Stout
Furiously Happy by Jenny Lawson
There are some good ones here! I hope you get some for Christmas, especially Titanshade and These Silent Woods😁
I really do want Titanshade, it’s been on my list forever, but I was holding out to see if an electronic version becomes available. These Silent Woods – soon, very soon.
Lynn 😀
Great list! I hope you get all of them!
I hope so too 😀
I enjoyed Ten Low and I can certainly recommend it, while I’ve set my eyes on These Silent Woods since its first appearance on the blogosphere and hope to read it one of these days… 🙂
Both great sounding books – I hope my determination to read some of my own books this year stands the test of time.
Lynn 😀
So many good books here! I can’t recommend These Silent Woods enough!
Yes, I think that will be the first I pick up from this list.
Lynn 😀
Furiously Happy was an excellent read. May you enjoy it! Thanks for stopping by earlier, and sorry my visit was a bit late. The holidays are such a busy time of year. 🙂
Thanks. And no worries, my visiting and blog hopping has been disastrous just recently – life just takes over some time doesn’t it.
Lynn 😀
I can’t recommed Catherine, Called Birdy enough. Seriously, it’s that funny, wise and charming. Cuckoo Song was also my first Hardinge book and the next one I want to try is A Face like Glass. And The Witch’s Heart is on my TBR too!
I’m loving Hardinge so Cuckoo song is definitely calling to me.
Lynn 😀
