Top Ten Tuesday : New to Me Authors from 2021

ttt

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme where every Tuesday we look at a particular topic for discussion and use various (or more to the point ten) bookish examples to demonstrate that particular topic.  Top Ten Tuesday (created and hosted by  The Broke and Bookish) is now being hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and future week’s topics can be found here.  This week’s topic is a ‘freebie’ so I’ve chosen a past topic that allows me to shine a light on some of the books I’ve read and enjoyed so far this year (this isn’t my ‘best of’ list just a snippet of good books:

I enjoyed all the Jane Harper books I’ve read so far but haven’t got around to The Survivors yet.
I also have The Ladies of the Secret Circus TBR as well 🙂

Both really good and quite different. Survivors a murder mystery set in a small coastal village and The Secret Circus involves magic and I suppose magical realism – which is something I love. Hope you enjoy both.

Awesome list, Lynn! I’m putting together a list too, and Ronald Malfi will be at the top. Now you have to read Sayers’ A Witch in Time, so good!

    • @lynnsbooks

Yes, that’s a book that I really want to get to.

Nice list! I’m going to have to do this topic sometime between now and the end of the year. I love Sarah Gailey’s books!!

    • @lynnsbooks

Yes, I loved this book and she has a new one due out soon called Just Like Home (or something like that – trying to recall off the top of my head is not always a strong point.

Ooh I need to pick up Ariadne!

    • @lynnsbooks

I really liked it but I think I’m in the ‘zone’ at the moment for that type of novel.
      Lynn 😀

  5. Mogsy @ BiblioSanctum

I had some new discoveries from this list too! And thanks for reminding me I have to take one of these lists myself!

    • @lynnsbooks

I’m glad to get this list in early really so i can now look forward to reading everone else’s end of year lists.
      Lynn 😀

I really want to read the Echo wife. I’ve read one book by her but nothing lately. The Survivors and Shiver both sound fabulous, as does Ariadne. Thanks for reminding me about these!

All great choices to be honest, and difficult to choose between them – you’ll have to read them all. Lol.
      Lynn 😀
