Top Ten Tuesday : Mardi Gras

ttt

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme where every Tuesday we look at a particular topic for discussion and use various (or more to the point ten) bookish examples to demonstrate that particular topic.  Top Ten Tuesday (created and hosted by  The Broke and Bookish) is now being hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and future week’s topics can be found here.  This week’s topic :

Purple, Yellow, and/or Green Book Covers (for Mardi Gras)

So, a lovely easy one this week – let’s take a look at some lovely carnival coloured covers:

I think the only one of these I’ve read is Hitchhikers, which I listened to on audio a long long time ago.
The Last Dog on Earth, what a title. I hope the dog survives to the end of the story as well 😀
I love those Jesse Teller covers, and Snowspelled has a really pretty cover too.

The Last Dog on Earth was really good. Just thinking about it now makes me smile.

These are fantastic. I love that Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy has all three colors😁

Yes, it’s absolutely spot on for this week’s theme.

For some reason, I found this week’s TTT very difficult, and so I stayed clear. Like your book cover display for the colors, and a couple of them really hooked me.
First, Last Dog on Earth, now is that supposed to be humor? The tag line says world is going to the dogs!
And the other one is A Wizard’s Sacrifice. I wonder if you’ve read that one? Someone described it Game of Thrones like, and now I’m on the fence on whether to read it or not…

I’ve not read A Wizard’s Sacrifice yet, I was hoping to fit it in soon though. Last Dog on Earth was good, part of the story is told by the dog – a very foul mouthed little animal with a lot of snark. It’s sort of darkly humourous.
      Lynn 😀

They are very festive colours now you mention it.
