Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme where every Tuesday we look at a particular topic for discussion and use various (or more to the point ten) bookish examples to demonstrate that particular topic. Top Ten Tuesday (created and hosted by The Broke and Bookish) is now being hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and future week’s topics can be found here. This week’s topic :
Books On My Winter TBR
For this week’s prompt I’m highlighting the next ten books that I’m hoping to read. I’m still catching up with some review books that I’m behind with and have been using December to catch up. I’ve also included a couple from January that I’m going to squeeze in in the hopes of getting ahead:
Hollow Empire (Poison War #2) by Sam Hawke
Blood Heir (Aurelia Ryder #1) by Ilona Andrews
Bear Head (Dogs of War #2) by Adrian Tchaikovsky
Ink and Sigil by Kevin Hearne
Pawn’s Gambit (Mortal Techniques #2) by Rob J Hayes
A Wizard’s Sacrifice by AM Justice
Children (The Ten Worlds #1) by Bjorn Larssen
We Lie With Death (The Reborn Empire #2) by Devin Madson
Song (The Manhunters #1) by Jesse Teller
Paternus : War of Gods (The Paternus Trilogy #3) by Dyrk Ashton
i loved Kevin Hearne’s first series and I can’t wait for the spin off ^^
Yeah, the Iron Druid Chronicles were great although I do need to return to complete the series.
Lynn 😀
I’m surprised I don’t have any of these books on my TBR, but maybe not seeing how many books are out there!! I would like to catch up with Ink & Sigil, though😁
It sounds like a lot of fun.
Lynn 😀
All of these books are on my TBR, too!
Wow, that’s so uncanny, fingers crossed we both manage to get to them all.
Lynn 😀
These look like some great winter reads. I look forward to hearing more about them. Happy reading!
Thank you 😀
I hope you manage to read all of these and enjoy them!
My post!
Thanks Evelyn 😀
Bear Head is very high on my wishlist: after reading Dogs of War I can hardly wait! 🙂
Currently reading, and so far enjoying, it.
Lynn 😀
I can’t wait to read Blood Heir. I’m so excited and luckily it drops here on the 12th!
I really enjoyed it. Hope you do too.
Lynn 😀
Ooh these are mostly new to me. Look like awesome picks. Love that cover on Pawn’s Gambit. Wow.
Yep, Rob Hayes has been blessed by the book cover gods.
Lynn 😀
Good luck with these! I received Pawn’s Gambit from Rob this week, though I really want to check out Never Die first. And eek, the first book of Madson’s series is on my winter list, I NEED to read that before year’s end.
Yes, I was hoping to catch up on so many books, I have made progress but wow,how quickly has this month gone ?
Lynn 😀
Oooh, great list. Hollow Empire is one I hope I can get to before winter is over too. And Blood Heir very soon, of course. 🙂 Enjoy!
I really enjoyed Blood Heir, look forward to your thoughts on that one.
Lynn 😀
Hoping I can start it Sunday. I have so much reading to catch up on this weekend!
this is a great-looking list, Lynn! I hope you enjoy Ink & Sigil – I loved it, although Himself couldn’t get on with it, as he doesn’t like the MC, sadly… I’m currently halfway through Bear Head – which took a bit of time to get going, but I’m thoroughly enjoying it now. And I have the Kate Daniels series on my TBR list – I love the Innkeeper Chronicles!
I’m also reading Bear Head and like you it took me a little bit to get going but now I’m pretty much into the story.
Lynn 😀
