Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme where every Tuesday we look at a particular topic for discussion and use various (or more to the point ten) bookish examples to demonstrate that particular topic. Top Ten Tuesday (created and hosted by The Broke and Bookish) is now being hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and future week’s topics can be found here. This week’s topic is:
Books On My Spring 2019 TBR
In the UK the Spring months are March, April and May. Below is a list of some of the books I’m hoping to reading during those three months:
Little Darlings by Melanie Golding

A Time of Blood by John Gwynne
Holy Sister by Mark Lawrence

I’m curious about The Binding and just discovered The Furies the other day. (I almost typed The Furries – lord help me!). I just won a copy of Westside from Goodreads so I’m super excited about getting it as well.
The Furries – that would have been a Freudian slip!
Lynn 😀
Spring seems to have way too many books and I know I won’t be able to get to all of them. But I’ll definitely be reading Westside and Storm of Locusts😁
Yeah, can’t wait for those two
Lynn 😀
There are some great books on this list! And some I’ll have to check out a little further. My Spring 2019 TBR.
Thanks 😀
The Binding has such a pretty cover.
My Top Ten Tuesday post.
Yeah, I love the style of that one, it seems to be a popular style at the moment.
Lynn 😀
By the end of this month the third and final (?) book in Ian McDonald’s Luna series should come out – Moon Rising – and I’m more than looking forward to it. And A Time of Blood cannot come soon enough! 🙂
Yep, I’m really looking forward to the John Gwynne book. Did I see Moon Rising on NG – think I may have done?
Lynn 😀
Little Darlings looks super creepy! I hope you love all of these 😀
Me too 😀
I love the cover of Little Darlings! It looks creepy. I hope you enjoy all of these.

Thanks – I hope they all work out well.
Lynn 😀
I can’t wait to read Storm of Locusts! I’m pretty intrigued by Westside too — will have to keep an eye out for that one. Enjoy your spring reading!
My TTT
Thanks – you too 😀
LOL, with the exception of a few here, I think all of these are on my list too. I was actually offered the second Kin book for review last week, but alas, have not read the first!
Not enough time – I suspect with the Kin books they’ll all read as self contained novels but you’d probably still want to have read the first to get a feel for the place and time.
Lynn 😀
Have fun reading!

Thanks 😀
I cannot wait for A Time of Blood and especially The Poison Song. I’ve loved those books so far.
Looking forward to your thoughts on The Binding as in the end I gave up on it and I wonder whether I should give it another try, maybe when the paperback comes out.
Enjoy your reads 🙂
Okay – good to know about The Binding – maybe lower expectations going into that one then!
Lynn 😀
I can’t wait to read Holy Sister!
I’ve started it – still early days but good so far.
Lynn 😀
I just started listening to Trial of Lightning, and I’m certain I will need Storm of Locusts on my list. I’ve heard great things about Little Darlings, and I’d like to try to give the Mark Lawrence series another try this year.
I loved Trail of Lightning – I also listened to the audio and I thought it was brilliant.
Lynn 😀
Storm of Locusts!!!
I really love that cover for GGK’s new book. 😍
It’s gorgeous isn’t it – there is another cover but it’s not as stunning.
Lynn 😀
Happy reading! I eagerly look forward to your thoughts on Snorri Kristjansson’s Council. 🙂
Yes, that’s a book I’m definitely keen to get to. Hope it works out as well as the first.
Lynn 😀
I hope it works out as well as the first for you too. 🙂
Thanks 😀
