Most Anticipated Releases for the First Half of 2019
There are lots of great books due out this year and I’m excited about lots of them but here in no particular order are, slightly more than 10 books (don’t shoot me, I got excited) displayed in covers:
The new John Gwynne, the sequel to The Poppy War and The Wicked King are among my most awaited second volumes, indeed.
And I can tell you that The Gutter Prayer looks like a promising debut: I’m roughly halfway in and it’s very intriguing 🙂
Yep, the Gutter Prayer is receiving much praise so I’m excited to pick it up.
Lynn 😀
Awesome bunch of books! I don’t even know where to start. Many of these are on my list, but there are some new to me books I’ll be checking out😊
So many books, so little time – but, good problems to have.
Lynn 😀
Some of these covers are amazing. I’m amidst reading Once Upon A River, which I’m liking very much and it’s easy to reconnect with after days of not picking it up. I hope you enjoy it as much as the rest of them.
I can’t wait to read it tbh. Good to know you’re enjoying it.
Lynn 😀
Great list, Lynn! Definitely looking forward to a couple of these myself. Some of the others I may have to check out, the covers are intriguing. 🙂
There are so many great books coming out this year. I am all excited – although I can’t possibly read them all.
Lynn 😀
Same! My TBR pile is just going to grow, I am resigned to it at this point lol.
Awesome! I’m lucky to have a few yelling at me from my kindle.
Yeah, it’s a nice feeling isn’t it.
Some great ones in there! I am so looking forward to Dragon Republic and jut added The Devil Aspect to my TBR
I’m currently reading that one – even though it’s not due for publication for a couple of months. I’ll let you know how I get on with it.
Lynn 😀
Hey, I featured more than ten books per month I’m looking forward to in my own anticipated post, and only for the first three months of 2019, so no judgment from me! Most of these are on my radar already, but a couple are not – speaking of which, off to check out The Devil Aspect!
There are so many good books due out this year. I’m beyond excited.
Lynn 😀
The tagline of Whisper Man is PRECISELY WHY I KEEP MY DOORS CLOSED IN MY ROOM. Don’t need no spoopy creepers. Hope you enjoy, Lynn!
Cheers,
joey via. thoughts and afterthoughts
It does sound creepy doesn’t it – hope it doesn’t scare me too much!
Lynn 😀
It was hard to only choose 10 haha, there are so many exciting releases already in January!

I know – it’s an impossible post to stick to 10. It’s like when somebody asks you your favourite book – what!! you think I have only 1! NOOOOooooooooo……
Lynn 😀
Holy Sister is one I will read immediately after its release, because I can’t wait to find out how the trilogy will end. And The Gutter Prayer sounds so intriguing too! I hope you’ll end up loving all these books!
Me too – I also hope I’ll find time (hidden under a rock or something) to read them all. #good problems to have
I’m going to have to let my wife know about The Fall of Io – this is a series she’s been following for a while. Great list.
Many thanks – I’ve been loving that series too so very excited about that one.
Lynn 😀
Oooh there are some really pretty covers ❤ I am super excited for The Wicked King!! I just finished The Cruel Prince and am going to start it today ❤
Wicked King is due for reading very soon.
Lynn 😀
I’m super excited to read Once Upon A River! I just got a notification that it is in transit to my library for me, so I will be reading it very soon 🙂
