Here we are again with the Friday Face Off meme created by Books by Proxy . This is a great opportunity to feature some of your favourite book covers. The rules are fairly simple each week, following a predetermined theme (list below) choose a book, compare a couple of the different covers available for that particular book and choose your favourite. Future week’s themes are listed below – the list has been updated to help out those of you who like to plan ahead – if you have a cover in mind that you’re really wanting to share then feel free to leave a comment about a future suggested theme. This week’s theme:
‘I wandered lonely as a cloud’ – a cover featuring clouds

The clouds are blocking the sun and darken everything. Beautiful.
My Friday FaceOff
Yeah, I love the foreboding feel of this particular cover.
Lynn 😀
Yep, that is my favorite as well.
Thanks 😀
Oh, like these covers quite a lot. I think my favorite is the one with the building and clouds, with the slightly greenish tinge to it. 🙂 Happy Friday!
Yeah, there’s something a little ‘romantic’ almost about that cover isn’t there. Or gothic? Or both.
Lynn 😀
To be honest, I like all of these covers. I think my favorite is the one you chose. Ugh, another book I need to read!
Yep – a problem we all share. Not enough time but then good problems to have. I’d sooner have too many books and not enough time than the other way round.
Lynn 😀
The one you chose is my favorite as well, Lynn. I love the coloring and image with the clouds and nearly silhouetted horse and girl. Thank you for sharing and hosting!

It’s a great cover – sorry for being so late replying, had friends staying. And thanks for taking part 😀
It’s a very dramatic cover, and I like it a great deal: that dark rider against the stormy sky is quite arresting… 🙂
That’s what I thought. Very eye catching.
Lynn 😀
Yes, definitely. 🙂 A statement-like cover.
My thoughts entirely.
Lynn 😀
That’s my favorite one too! I think I almost did this book for the Riders theme – that cover would have been my pick.
It’s really a great cover.
Lynn 😀
