“Waiting On Wednesday” is a weekly meme that was originally created by Breaking the Spine. Unfortunately Breaking the Spine are no longer hosting so I’m now linking my posts up to Wishful Endings Can’t Wait Wednesday. Don’t forget to stop over, link up and check out what books everyone else is waiting for. If you want to take part, basically, every Wednesday, we highlight a book that we’re really looking forward to. This week my book is: The Winter of the Witch (Winternight Trilogy #3) by Katherine Arden. I want this book in my life so much.
In the stunning conclusion to the bestselling Winternight Trilogy, following The Bear and the Nightingale and The Girl in the Tower, Vasya returns to save Russia and the spirit realm, battling enemies both mortal and magic.
Expected publication : August 2018
Short but intriguing.
Haha, yes, my very thoughts.
Lynn 😀
I am the last person on earth who hasn’t read this series😐 Someday….?
It’s good to know I’m not the only one with so many missed series – although, let’s look at it a different way – we have plenty to look forward to if books ever go into short supply.
Lynn 😀
Okay, you’re making me really eager to finally get to the second book before this one comes out. I hope this one is just as enchanting as the others for you!
I hope so too – I loved The Bear and the Nightingale and then unbelievably The Girl in the Tower was even better. You wouldn’t be far wrong if you said I had high expectations for this last book 😀
Pretty pretty….Insert Smeagle voice. I really need to start this series!
Yes, do it!
Lynn 😀
This series has completely by-passed me… Hopefully at some stage I’ll get a chance to catch up with it. I’m glad you are looking forward to this one, Lynn – as ever, she has another sumptuously beautiful cover…
Such a lovely set of book covers – absolutely gorgeous.
Lynn 😀
I love the cover! But am probably stopping the series after book 1. 🙂 I just didnt have the love for it most people do
It would be an odd world if we all loved everything equally wouldn’t it. It’s a shame this didn’t work for you but it’s good that you are standing firm and not just continuing to read on – this is what I’m doing more of these days. I only want to read the books that I’m enjoying otherwise it’s just hard work and hobbies are supposed to be fun.
Lynn 😀
I haven’t read this series either, but it looks really amazing.
Here’s our WOW: http://jennreneeread.blogspot.com/2018/02/waiting-on-wednesday-olivia-twist-by.html
It’s a rather lovely blend of Russian folklore and fairytale. I’m loving it so far.
Lynn 😀
I love this series so much! August seems so far away to get my hands on it.
It will soon come around – unfortunately the time flying by seems to be the one consistent constant for me at the moment. I feel like I’ve only just had Christmas and it’s March already. Not too long now.
Lynn 😀
I can’t wait for this either! I thought the second book was even better than the first, so hope this upward trend continues!
I’m bursting to read the final book and see how everything concludes – well, and at the same time I’m also a bit scared. Fingers crossed for a good ending.
Lynn 😀
Another series that I had completely forgotten about! This entire trilogy has amazing covers 😀
It really does – and I love the UK and US versions.
Lynn 😀
I MUST COMMANDEER A COPY!!! ARRRR!!
x The Captain
Indeed – can’t wait to read this one.
