“Waiting On Wednesday” is a weekly meme that was originally created by Breaking the Spine. Unfortunately Breaking the Spine are no longer hosting so I’m now linking my posts up to Wishful Endings Can’t Wait Wednesday. Don’t forget to stop over, link up and check out what books everyone else is waiting for. If you want to take part, basically, every Wednesday, we highlight a book that we’re really looking forward to. This week my book is: The Sisters Mederos by Patrice Sarath.
I love the sound of this one and the cover is very eye catching:
Two sisters fight with manners, magic, and mayhem to reclaim their family’s name, in this captivating historical fantasy adventure.
House Mederos was once the wealthiest merchant family in Port Saint Frey. Now the family is disgraced, impoverished, and humbled by the powerful Merchants Guild. Daughters Yvienne and Tesara Mederos are determined to uncover who was behind their family’s downfall and get revenge. But Tesara has a secret – could it have been her wild magic that caused the storm that destroyed the family’s merchant fleet? The sisters’ schemes quickly get out of hand – gambling is one thing, but robbing people is another…
Together the sisters must trust each other to keep their secrets and save their family.
Due for publication April 2018.
Great choice, I saw this cover reveal and I’m intrigued! I love the magical historical aspect, and of course the cover is lovely😊
I really like the cover – hope it’s as good as it sounds.

I saw this one on Netgalley recently and added it to my wishlist already. I love the cover and the synopsis sounds good too!
Yeah – I really hope this one works out. It sounds and looks really good.

Mmmmm…. that’s intriguing, very intriguing… 🙂
I hope it lives up to it’s promise.

Ooh, yes! I requested the ARC from netgalley last week. I can’t remember the last time I felt this excited about Angry Robot title, I don’t think I’ve read anything from them in a while!
Funnily enough I don’t think I’ve read a lot of AR recently so I hope this one is as good as it sounds.
Lynn 😀
I really like the sound of this one, Lynn:). And yes, I’m surprised it’s an Angry Robot title – they generally tend to be a tad more testosterone-filled in their books…
Haha – yes, I see where you’re coming from. I hope this one works out well, I do like the sound and the look of it.
Lynn 😀
This looks fun! And wild magic too? Should be a good one…
I hope so, fingers crossed.
