Can’t Wait Wednesday : Cross Her Heart by Sarah Pinborough

Can't Wait Wednesday

“Waiting On Wednesday” is a weekly meme that was originally created by Breaking the Spine.  Unfortunately Breaking the Spine are no longer hosting so I’m now linking my posts up to Wishful Endings Can’t Wait Wednesday. Don’t forget to stop over, link up and check out what books everyone else is waiting for.  If you want to take part, basically, every Wednesday, we highlight a book that we’re really looking forward to.  This week my book is: Cross Her Heart by Sarah Pinborough:
Crossherheart‘Cross my heart and hope to die…’

Promises only last if you trust each other, but what if one of you is hiding something?

A secret no one could ever guess.

Someone is living a lie.

Is it Lisa?

Maybe it’s her daughter, Ava.

Or could it be her best friend, Marilyn?

Due to be published May 2018

Wow, that blurb doesn’t tell you anything, but I guess that’s better going into a Pinborough book. I’m excited!

Beautiful cover and I loved The Language of Dying and have been meaning to pick up another book by this author for a long time. Thanks for sharing this one!

I do like Pinborough so I’m always excited when she has a new book for release

If I remember the rhyme correctly, should those pins actually be going into an eye? 😉

    • @lynnsbooks

Ohh, I’ve never heard that rhyme before but went to check it out – it’s a bit gruesome isn’t it. And, yes, the pin would be in the eye.

It’s totally me. I’m living a lie! 😉 Pinborough can be hit or miss for me, but this one does sound really good. I loved Behind Her Eyes which had a stronger thriller aspect to it, this seems like it may as well

Yeah, this ones seems to be proving popular in early circles so time will tell. I do like her books though.

    More than a synopsis, that’s a teaser – and a very intriguing one, indeed…
And then it’s Pinborough – enough said 🙂

I just went and added this one! Looks like the US release will be coming a few months after the UK, you lucky! 😀
