“Waiting On Wednesday” is a weekly meme that was originally created by Breaking the Spine. Unfortunately Breaking the Spine are no longer hosting so I’m now linking my posts up to Wishful Endings Can’t Wait Wednesday. Don’t forget to stop over, link up and check out what books everyone else is waiting for. If you want to take part, basically, every Wednesday, we highlight a book that we’re really looking forward to. This week my book is a real woohoo moment. I’m loving this series and No.3 is on the horizon : Charmcaster (Spellslinger #3) by Sebastien de Castell:
The third book in the page-turning SPELLSLINGER fantasy series.
‘I was getting almost as good at running away from enemies as I was at making them in the first place. Turns out, I wasn’t running nearly fast enough.’
Kellen has begun to master his spellslinging and the Argosi tricks for staying alive, and he and Reichis have found a career that suits them both: taking down mercenary mages who make people’s lives miserable. But Ferius is concerned that Kellen is courting disaster . . .
Perfect for fans of The Dark Tower, Firefly, Guardians of the Galaxy, Terry Pratchett, Ben Aaronovitch and Jim Butcher.
Due out March – time for you all to read the first two if you haven’t already.
I know how much you love this series, and I can understand your excitement. I love this cover!
I do love these books so I can’t wait for this one.
Lynn 😀
Love the first paragraph. Sounds like a fun adventure. Enjoy!
I’ve loved the first two so I hope this one delivers the same enjoyment.
Lynn 😀
One of these days I’m going to read more books by him. I read the first in the Greatcoats series, really enjoyed it, but somehow just never continued.
Yeah, me to – only read the first of the Greatcoats and I genuinely don’t know why that is because I really liked it.
Lynn 😀
Ooo! *bounces up and down excitedly* I LOVE this series – I hadn’t realised the next book was due out so soon. Yippee – thank you Lynn:))
I love this series too so I’m excited that this one is due so soon.
Lynn 😀
I’d almost forgotten Sebastian had another series he was working on!
It’s really good – very light and fun.
Lynn 😀
Eep, I have to start the first one!
It’s a fun series to read. I think you’d enjoy them although once you get behind it becomes difficult to face doesn’t it. I think that’s why I never got further than book 1 in the Greatcoats.
Lynn 😀
Book 3 already? I’ll never catch up at this rate! *wails*
that’s why I never caught up with the Greatcoats series that everyone loves. I so dislike being behind with a series.
Lynn 😀
