‘A horse, a horse, my kingdom for a horse…’

Here we are again with the Friday Face Off meme created by Books by Proxy . This is a great opportunity to feature some of your favourite book covers. The rules are fairly simple each week, following a predetermined theme (list below) choose a book, compare a couple of the different covers available for that particular book and choose your favourite. Future week’s themes are listed below. This week’s theme:
1st September 2017 – Being born in a stable does not make one a horse (A cover which features a horse)
And I’ve chosen White Horse by Alex Adams:
My favourite this week is:

Which is your favourite?
Next week – A City
Future themes:
8th September 2017 – That great condenser of moral chaos, The City (A cover which features a city)
1 September 2017
I read this book and it had a lot of potential! I actually wish the author had expanded upon their story because they had great ideas.
It did have a lot of potential and could definitely have been expanded upon more.
Lynn 😀
What a wonderful book and covers – and I thoroughly agree with your choices.
Thanks – I actually struggled with this one more than I thought I would.
Lynn 😀
So did I:)
I like the first cover, because I think that was the one that initially put this book on my radar. Still have to read it at some point 🙂
It’s actually a lovely cover and one I’d not seen before – likewise though, the third cover is the version I own.
Lynn 😀
I think my favorite is the first one. But these are all really nice. Why does this book sound so familiar??
It was absolutely ages ago that I read this one tbh – post apocalyptic style story where the majority of the population have died. The one thing that stuck in my mind with this (and I’m sure this is the book I read it in) was in relation to Pandora’s box – and the fact that it’s actually a jar and not a box, do not ask me why that stuck in my mind but it did (small things, etc, etc).
Lynn 😀
I fancy the first one, though the one you chose looks mysterious.
The first cover is lovely – and of course it fits the theme perfectly.
