‘He knows how to play. Itty-bitty-baby-Potter.’

Here we are again with the Friday Face Off meme created by Books by Proxy . This is a great opportunity to feature some of your favourite book covers. The rules are fairly simple each week, following a predetermined theme (list below) choose a book, compare a couple of the different covers available for that particular book and choose your favourite. Future week’s themes are listed below. This week’s theme:
From the ashes a fire shall be woken (A cover which features fire)
This week I’ve gone for: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J K Rowling
My favourite this week:

Which is your favourite?
Next week – Soldier
Future themes:
11th August 2017- No soldier outlives a thousand chances (A cover which features a soldier)
18th August 2017 – The world was my oyster but I used the wrong fork (A cover which features food)
25th August 2017 – If I be waspish, best beware my sting (A cover which features an insect)
1st September 2017 – Being born in a stable does not make one a horse (A cover which features a horse)
8th September 2017 – That great condenser of moral chaos, The City (A cover which features a city)
4 August 2017
Yes, I agree. I also like the second one in the first row. 🙂
There are some excellent covers here there really are.
Lynn 😀
Great choice indeed: it’s the one that most caught my eye, although the last cover is quite interesting as well… 🙂
There are so many book cover choices for all the books in this series – it certainly makes choosing a favourite very difficult.
Lynn 😀
Oooh! I love all the Harry Potter covers this week! I especially love your pick of the week!
Here’s my Friday Face Off:

Thanks – there was certainly plenty of choice with this book.
Lynn 😀
I do really love your choice – it’s beautiful:). And once again – a great book for fire.
Thanks Sarah, there are such a lot of great covers in this whole series – lots to choose from.
Lynn 😀
My eye immediately went to that one too! Agreed, that one is the nicest 🙂
It’s very dramatic isn’t it.
Lynn 😀
Great book choice! But I will always have a bias for the original UK set of covers, so my choice has to be the 2nd cover with the phoenix coming out of the flames 🙂
It is a good cover for sure – I love those. There are some great covers for this series.
Lynn 😀
I like the original yellow one, but I’ve always been partial to the adult cover. I actually bought the new(ish) children’s editions because of the covers. I can’t wait to get into the books.
And I love your favourite pick!
It’s such a dramatic cover isn’t it. Happy reading.
Lynn 😀
My favourite is the second on the top row, because it’s the cover i own, know, and love (this is my favourite HP book ♥). But the cover you chose would be a close second–it’s very lovely.
I usually have a soft spot for the covers on the books I own as well but that cover is so dramatic and eye catching I had to pick it.
Lynn 😀
