My precious..

Every Tuesday over at the  The Broke and Bookish we all get to look at a particular topic for discussion and use various (or more to the point ten) examples to demonstrate that particular topic.  This week’s topic is:

Top Ten Books On My Spring TBR

That’s right – Spring is here!  It’s official.  The birds are going crazy, the nights are getting lighter, and it looks like I need to do some gardening.  So, a little prevarication never hurt…  With that in mind I give you a few books that I have on my upcoming shelves.

  1. Collapsing Empire by John Scalzi (March)
  2. Heart of Stone by Ben Galley (March)
  3. Skullsworn by Brian Staveley (April)
  4. Avengers of the Moon by Allen Steele (April)
  5. Borrowed Souls by Chelsea Muller (May)
  6. Skitter by Ezekiel Boone (May)
  7. The Only Child by Andrew Pyper (June)
  8. The Fallen Kingdom by Elizabeth May (June)
  9. The Turn by Kim Harrison (July)
  10. A Kiss Before Doomsday by Laurence MacNaughton (July)

Okay, I cheated slightly because a couple of these fall, strictly speaking, in Summer – but I knot you won’t call the TTT police and have me thrown into a dungeon (I hope you won’t anyway!)

So many good books here. I am excited to read A Kiss Before Doomsday and forgot all about Skitter (which is bad because I have an ARC). I also hope to read The Only Child and Borrowed Souls. Totally loving your list!

Awesome, cool to see Skitter on the list, I’ve recently read The Hatching and loved it, such good fun and can’t wait for Skitter.😀

I’m sure you’ve see it but it’s over on NG in case you haven’t 😀

That’s a great choice of books. I’ve just finished reading The Collapsing Empire and read The Turn earlier in the year, so I’ll be very interested in seeing what you make of those, in particular. The Allen Steele book also looks great – I loved his Coyote series.

    • @lynnsbooks

I’m so looking forward to these. Not read Allen Steel and it looks really good. Just started Collapsing Empire.
      Lynn 😀

  7. Mogsy @ BiblioSanctum

Looking forward to all of these, except for The Fallen Kingdom and Kim Harrison because I’m not caught up with those series! So many books this spring, how am I going to fit them all in?

    • @lynnsbooks

Haha – well, you probably can’t fit them all in – although I’m sure you’ll give it a very good try. 😀

  8. Danya @ Fine Print

Ah yes, Spring…it’s snowing outside here as I read this! 😂

Borrowed Souls is definitely one of my most anticipated reads for this upcoming season too, how cool is it that the author is also a book blogger?! I’ve got to get around to requesting a copy soon.

    • @lynnsbooks

I’m really looking forward to Borrowed Souls too. And, it is cool that the author is a blogger. Yes, go. Request a copy.
      Lynn 😀
