Dear Santa,

Every Tuesday over at the  The Broke and Bookish we all get to look at a particular topic for discussion and use various (or more to the point ten) examples to demonstrate that particular topic.  This week’s topic is:

Ten Books I Wouldn’t Mind Santa Leaving Under My Tree (or non-book bookworm items)

  1. Some extra time please, if it’s not too much trouble.  Come on, this is Santa – if anyone can pull this off he can!
  2. A magical room in my house that once I go in is actually enormous – where I can have row after row of books and never run out of space (think along the lines of a tardis)
  3. Or maybe just leave me a tardis – I think that would look pretty cool in the corner of the room.
  4. The most comfy chair ever.
  5. New plump pillows – nice easy one right there and nice comfy bed time reading.
  6. Book tokens – easy, no explanation necessary and frankly the best gift ever.
  7. A new table lamp – one of those adjustable ones.  I could definitely live with one of those.
  8. A super kindle – one that actually organises me – this should be a real thing.  I’m always making and losing lists.  I need to be organised.
  9. Less grabby hands – this is really necessary, although, if Santa pulls this one off I might not need that tardis anymore (I still want it though).
  10. All the books off my wishlist (not greedy much) (not to mention I just ruined No.9)  Oh well… the tardis is back on the menu!

I would definitely sign up for more time and the secretly giant room! 😀

    • @lynnsbooks

Secret giant rooms are everyone’s dream I think (even if they don’t know it).
      Lynn 😀

  2. sjhigbee

Dear Santa, Um… what Lynn said – but for me instead, please…

  3. Kate @ Midnight Book Girl

I need a Tardis and more of that time, and definitely a comfy, cozy chair!

    • @lynnsbooks

So long as the Tardis doesn’t come with Daleks all is good.
      Lynn 😀

  4. Birdie

Extra time. I’d love extra time for Christmas.

  5. maddalena@spaceandsorcery

Extra time, indeed! And less need for sleep, as well. Just thinking what I could accomplish – book-wise – with these two gifts, makes my head spin… 😀 😀

    • @lynnsbooks

My need for so much sleep is definitely a hindrance! I practically go into hibernation every night!
      Lynn 😀

  6. Curious Daisy

There is a cute little Tardis light up Kit on Amazon/Book Depository. Happy reading!

    • @lynnsbooks

Haha – I should go and check the out soon. Many thanks.
      Lynn 😀

I would love to have number two (or even just a non-magical library room in my house, honestly)

    Great list! 🙂

  9. Rebecca

In addition to the secret infinite library I would take a giant closet… filled with already put together outfits. It would make life so much simpler! :p

  10. Mogsy @ BiblioSanctum

Haha, I love number 1. Dear Santa, I’ll also love more time to read, but I guess I can also settle for being granted the power of superhuman reading speed 🙂

  11. Amanda @Cover2CoverMom

Let me know if Santa got you more time lol If so, I want some too!
