This week – I’ve read Annihilation by Jeff VanderMeer and The Martian by Andy Weir my doodle is inspired by one of those books! This is only for fun – I’m not an artist at all but if you step over to Tabitha’s there are some lovely pieces to check out!

That is so great! I totally know which one that is for! The Martian! Course I haven’t read it and I don’t think I will. The blurb said to me “Cast Away in Space” after I read it and thought – mmmm yes Cast Away was a good movie but I don’t want to read it lol.
What do you mean you aren’t an artist your drawings are awesome. And hey COLOR! hahah
Yes, colour! Sometimes I wonder. I kind of feel if I just colour a couple of things it lifts it – but I don’t have any drawning ‘tools’ – basically my notepad, a pen, a pencil and whatever pens or highlighters happen to be around. Perhaps I should buy something – I’ll have to think about that because I quite enjoy doing these doodles – perhaps if I keep it up then I will.

Cute illustration.
I did wonder about that – but it’s not really spoilery as he kind of gets stranded on Mars at the beginning of the book – it’s sort of Castaway on Mars!
