Sunday Post

Today Iโ€™m posting my Weekly Wrap Up and Iโ€™m linking up to The Sunday Post over at Kimberlyโ€™s  Caffeinated Reviewer.  Without further ado:

Weekly Update

Its been a busy week with quite a bit of socialising but I’ve still managed to read a couple of books and post some reviews. I completed Worry Box by Chris Panatier which was another stellar five star read. I then picked up and completed earlier today Pride, Prejudice and Peril by Jessica Bull. My next read will be Carry Me To My Grave by Christopher Golden which I’ve just started.

Next Weekโ€™s Reads

Complete Carry Me To My Grave by Christopher Golden and then I’m going to pick up either The Court of Venus by Bel Banta or Bodies of Magic by Freya Marske.

Reviews Posted:

  1. Worry Box by Chris Panatier
  2. Exit Party by Emily St John Mandel

  2. This Blade of Ours by Shalini Abeysekara
  3. Our Noble Selves by Kate Atkinson.
  4. Pride, Prejudice and Peril by Jessica Bull

Hoping to see you round the blogosphere this forthcoming week

I love the cover for Carry Me To My Grave!! And I am curious to see what you will think of it! And the same goes for Bodies of Magic. I added it to my (neverending) TBR recently and I am pretty curious!

Carry Me To My Grave was really quite gripping and went in a direction I really didn’t see coming. Bodies of Magic I’ve had to set aside for the time being, it wasn’t working it’s magic but maybe I’ll return and give it another shot.

I hope you’re having a lovely week. It sounds like you have a wonderful mix of recent and next reads lined up. I cant wait to see what you think of Bodies Of Magic and Court Of Venus, the Tudor ties of the latter have me majorly intrigued.

Bodies of Magic I had to set aside for now. It wasn’t working for me and so I was just kind of languishing in this ‘no reading zone’ – I will give it another try just in case it was my mood.

Court of Venus I will definitely pick up but as Its now almost October – which, how did that happen – I might have to push it to December which I’m keeping free as a catch up month.

I’m so sorry to hear that. I keep hearing mixed things about that one so it may be the book itself. I got a gorgeous special edition of it in my book box this month though so I’m hoping I manage to fall for it still ๐Ÿคž

This year truly seems to be flying by. Using December as a catch up month sounds like a good idea, it generally seems to be quite quiet in terms of new releases. I’ve just realised that the arc I was convinced came out on the 20 something of next month is actually out on the 1st ๐Ÿ˜ฌ so I’m definitely hoping for a majorly bookish weekend ๐Ÿคž
