Booking Ahead/Weekly Wrap Up

Sunday Post

Today I’m posting my Weekly Wrap Up and I’m linking up to The Sunday Post over at Kimberly’s  Caffeinated Reviewer.  Without further ado:

Weekly Update

Woah this week has been a hot one – which was nice in terms of making me slow down with some things and instead chill with a book, literally too warm to do anything other than lollop. In fact I’ve been having a very good time with my reading. I read – literally in one sitting – Kiss Slay Replay by Rachel Harrison and absolutely loved it, couldn’t put it down. I then stayed on track and picked up Murder at The Grand Alpine Hotel by Lucy Foley which is a Miss Marple murder mystery. I quite enjoyed this one, it was a nice change in pace. Finally, and I don’t know how I managed to fit in another book but I read Serenity Falls by CJ Tudor. I liked this, the writing was good and I was curious about what was going on but I didn’t find it as good as some of the other books I’ve read by this author. I’ve now picked up the latest Kate Atkinson book, Our Noble Selves, too early to have any opinion one way or the other just yet having read only 4%. Fingers crossed that I love it.

Next Week’s Reads

Hopefully complete Our Noble Selves by Kate Atkinson and then I’m either going to pick up The Island of the Lost by Daisy Stephens or I might let my enthusiasm get the better of me and jump straight into Exit Party by Emily St John Mandel.
