Booking Ahead/Weekly update – what’s been going on

Sunday Post

Today I’m posting my Weekly Wrap Up and I’m linking up to The Sunday Post over at Kimberly’s  Caffeinated Reviewer.  Without further ado:

Weekly Update

You may or may not have noticed that I’ve taken a break recently. This wasn’t planned but happened as a result of travelling, seeing family and having visitors, in total, for almost a month, which meant in simple terms that I had very little free time. Over the next week I shall be travelling a little more but, I’m also hoping to ease myself back into blogging again and catching up with everything I’ve missed out on. I have been reading, although not as much as I’d like as I’ve been far too sociable. I have outstanding reviews to post for This Kingdom Will Not Kill Me by Ilona Andrews, The Caretaker by Marcus Kliewer, We Burned So Bright by TJ Klune, Death’s Daugher by S.A. Barnes, All Hail Chaos by Sarah Rees Brennan and The Raven Scholan by Antonia Hodgson.

Next Week’s reads

I have three books that I’ve already lined up for next week – I don’t expect to read three books but I think I’ll see where the mood takes me. This is what I’m thinking. The Calamity Club by Kathryn Stockett, The Tapestry of Fate by Shannon Chakraborty or The Killer in Room 5 by Sam Holland.

I’ve missed your posts, Lynn! But I’m glad you’re having fun doing other things. Very curious to hear your thoughts on Death’s Daughter and The Caretaker😁

Thanks Tammy. It’s good to be back. I’m still not quite fully back to my regular posting but little by little.

Welcome back! Sounds like you’ve had a great month! Looking forward to seeing reviews for your recent reads.

It was a very busy month and in some ways I’d prefer to spread things out a little in the future instead of being so ‘full on’ – it’s a bit exhausting. But, it was also really good fun and I loved it.

Good to see you back! Socializing and traveling definitely comes first. I look forward to reading your reviews as you catch up πŸ™‚

I think we readers think of ourselves as mostly anti social so it does come as a surprise to me when I go socialising and loving my time out and about.

Its lovely to see that you’re back and I’m glad to hear that its simply been a case of being busy and nothing troublesome going on πŸ₯° I had noticed your absence and am very happy to see that you’ve returned.

I’m also very excited for all of those upcoming reviews. As my yearly favourite I’m especially curious to see your one for The Raven Scholar.  Although I’ve heard amazing things about the other two titles (having read your other reviews already) as well.

Whichever of those three books you go for first I hope you enjoy (well I hope you enjoy them all). The first two are on my TBR, the last is new to me so I’ll watch out for your review then see if I need to add it in too.

Hope you have a lovely week. And thank you so much for all the comments you’ve left me πŸ₯Ή I truly appreciate the major catch up effort involved on your end ❀️

Haha, yes, it does involve a major catch up having been away for such a spell, but I’m not stressing about it, eventually I will have caught up and then everything will hopefully even out.

      Thanks for your lovely words.

And, it was a pleasure to catch up with your posts, always such a lot to enjoy and some wonderful book lists – who can resist?

I’m sure you’ll get there eventually πŸ₯° not letting it stress you out is definitely the best way to approach catch up.

Aww thank you so much for your kind words πŸ₯°πŸ₯° I’m glad gou enjoyed my posts. And I can never resist a book list either 😊
