Booking Ahead/Weekly Wrap Up

Sunday Post

Books read this week:

I’ve had a very busy week this past week, and the weather has been very warm!  So, I haven’t got on with much reading unfortunately.  I’m still reading A Far Better Thing by HG Parry – the writing is so good.  I’ll probably finish it this evening.

Next Week’s Reads:

Hoping to read Paved With Good Intentions by Peter McLean in, and time allowing I’ll be listening to some more of Shield of Sparrows by Devney Perry.

The weather is beautiful here too, I read on the porch today and it was lovely😁

I love reading outside to although I’ve not been doing so much lately as we’re making changes which mean there’s very little shade in the garden atm.

Hey, sorry for the late reply. Paved With Good Intentions is from the same world as Priest of Lies but gives us the story of Eline who is roped into the service of the Kings Men. It’s so good.

This weather already has me looking forward to autumn 😀

I don’t think I’ve read any H. G. Parry but I’m sure I have a backlist book, and I’ll look out for your review of this one, it sounds good.

I think you would like HG Parry – the writing is such a pleasure to read.

It’s hard to read during a heatwave, or so much of anything at all!

Yes, it’s difficult to settle down and you end up lolloping about instead!
