Today I’m returning to the Friday Face Off, originally created by Books by Proxy). I’ve missed these for the past few months and so would like to get back to comparing covers (and hopefully I will be updating this page with a new banner. This is an opportunity to look at a book of your choice and shine the spotlight on the covers. Of course this only works for those books that have alternative covers (although sometimes I use this to look at a series of books to choose a favourite). . So, if you have a book that has alternative covers, highlight them and choose your favourite. If you’re taking part it would be great if you leave a link so I can take a look at what you’ve chosen.

I agree with your choice. I much prefer the UK cover for this series, I think the US covers are a little too cartoony for me😂

This time, I can’t choose! Both covers are very striking.
I’m not as fond of the cartoony covers but now you’ve said it I have to agree – they’re still very striking, and they’d certainly grab your attention.

I’ve only seen the second cover before which strikes me as strange when it’s the US one according to your comments 🙈 I like both covers as I love how the eyes match the background colour on the first but I like the tea cup in the second one 😂 I looked the covers up for book one as well though and definitely prefer the UK cover for that one.
I also like both sets of covers – but, I think the more ‘cartoony’ covers give off the wrong vibe for the book because the first definitely had some dark elements – also very kind of cheeky, tongue in cheek – but with horror. The other cover kind of gives off a cheeky horror retro vibe – for me anyway. 😀
I’m gonna have to agree with you with your choice, those UK covers for that Lindy Ryan series are stunning!! I really need to try that series !
