Friday Face Off: Swordheart by T Kingfisher

Today I’m returning to the Friday Face Off, originally created by Books by Proxy). I’ve missed these for the past few months and so would like to get back to comparing covers (and hopefully I will be updating this page with a new banner. This is an opportunity to look at a book of your choice and shine the spotlight on the covers. Of course this only works for those books that have alternative covers (although sometimes I use this to look at a series of books to choose a favourite). . So, if you have a book that has alternative covers, highlight them and choose your favourite. If you’re taking part it would be great if you leave a link so I can take a look at what you’ve chosen.

I recently read Swordheart and loved it! I actually love all the covers but the dark one with the flowers and birds is my favourite!
Now that you mention the similar, but darker, cover, I must confess that it’s unusual for me to like the lighter version.
I’m hoping to read this soon.

I love the colorful covers, and I bought this recently and mine is the last cover😁

I love your choice and the slightly darker version of the cover! I love that this got such a pretty covef refresh!
Yes, I agree, I would still have wanted to pick this up because of the author but they grey version is a bit uninspiring.

I love the covers that you’ve chosen but think my favourite is the darker version of it. I think it helps some of the details stand out a bit more. Although the red is beautiful too. This authors books are getting such pretty covers atm 😍
Yes, I think everyone is loving this author and so some of her other books are being rereleased with new covers – which is great. I can’t wait to read this one.

Yes! Definitely the ones with color jump out at me more.
