Once again I am counting down to the New Year, as with the previous two years I shall be highlighting at least one book per day to fit the prompt on that given day. The main aim for this countdown is to highlight some of my reads during the past year and to shine the spotlight on them once again (although some of the prompts relate to forthcoming reads). I would like to read this series, simply based on your recommendations.
I’m loving it. It’s such good fun – maybe I’m a bit biased because of the Manchester setting – but I don’t think so. The characters are good and the writing.

Ohh, it is always so nice when a book is set in a place that we knew well! (Or set where we live!!). And if the book is a fantasy, on top of that, it is bliss!! *_*
