I’m trying to get back into the habit of doing a round-up of the week just completed and also take a look at my plans for the forthcoming week. I rather got out of the habit of doing so but I would like to reinstate this type of post as I feel it keeps me on track. So, I’m linking up to The Sunday Post over at Kimberly’s Caffeinated Reviewer. Without further ado:
Books read this week:
You may have noticed that I missed a weekly update. I’ve been away staying with family and trying to help with various things. At the same time, unfortunately, I’ve caught something nasty and been laid up in bed most of the past 8/9 days. I’m still not over it yet but I feel like I’ve turned a corner. Since my last update I finished reading The Cloisters by Katy Hays. I also read my second SPFBO finalist and read Sarah Gailey’s Just Like Home. I’ve now made a start on Emily Wilde’s Encyclopaedia of Faeries which I’m loving.
Next Week’s Reads:
Hopefully continue to recover, finish my current read and then make a start on some backlist books maybe or read another couple of January books. How to Sell a Haunted House by Grady Hendrix. I also started and need to complete All of Our Demise by Christine Lynn Herman; Amanda Foody and I also started Ithaca by Claire North.
Reviews Posted since my last Sunday Post:
- Love Will Tear Us Apart by CK McDonnell
- SPFBO No.1
- SPFBO No.2
- The Cloisters by Katy Hays
- Just Like Home by Sarah Gailey
I need to find some space on my TBR for Grady Hendrick’s new novel, because the previous one was a very engrossing read 🙂
So sorry to read that you weren’t well, but I am glad you are starting to get better! I hope you would feel 100% back to normal soon!!
Glad you’re starting to feel better.
Looking forward to your thoughts on Emily Wilde. I keep seeing that pretty cover around and getting tempted to add it to my TBR 😀
Ugh, illness around the holidays is never fun, feeling under the weather and also having to entertain guests and visit with family etc. I am glad to hear you are on the mend though, hopefully that’s the worst of it for the season.
