Booking Ahead/Weekly Wrap Up
I’m trying to get back into the habit of doing a round-up of the week just completed and also take a look at my plans for the forthcoming week. I rather got out of the habit of doing this but I would like to reinstate this type of post as I feel it keeps me on track. So, I’m linking up to The Sunday Post over at Kimberly’s Caffeinated Reviewer. Without further ado:
Books read this week:
Another busy but lovely week. I’ve increased my reading a little and I’m doing okay with blogging but not quite back to my usual content and blog hopping. This week I went off plan a little although I was still reading review books so it’s all good. I read a creepy horror book called Old Country by Matt Query and Harrison Query. It definitely gave me a little bit of the heebie jeebies. I’ve also started The Retreat by Sarah Pearse. I’m kind of on the fence so far. It’s not bad but at the moment it lacks tension (about 40% into the read).
Next Week’s Reads:
Hopefully complete The Retreat and then pick up Priest of Crowns by Peter McLean.
Reviews Posted since my last Sunday Post:

I am pleased to hear you have been able to increase your read and blogging. I also hope you continue to enjoy your creepy reading – I am very much ready for autumn now! Take care and happy reading. 😊
I’ve been pretty curious about The Retreat, and Daisy Darker looks like one I’d like to try too! 🙂
I’m regretting not getting a copy of Old Country. I’m looking forward to you review😁
