Booking Ahead/Weekly Wrap Up

Sunday Post

I’m trying to get back into the habit of doing a round-up of the week just completed and also take a look at my plans for the forthcoming week.  I rather got out of the habit of doing this last year but I would like to reinstate this type of post as I feel it keeps me on track.  So, I’m linking up to The Sunday Post over at Kimberly’s  Caffeinated Reviewer.  Without further ado:

Last week

Another busy week this week.  I’ve made a start on blog hopping which is going well and I’m catching up with reviews also.  I need to catch up with comments and then hopefully I’m all up to date with only two outstanding reviews to post.  I managed to complete the Ladies of the Secret Circus by Constance Sayers (which I loved) and I’m a third of the way through The Fall of Koli.  I’ve also read a quarter of my buddy read book, A Darker Shade of Magic by VE Schwab.

Next Week

Will almost be a reiteration of last week.  Complete The Fall of Kolia and start The Unbroken by CL Clark.

I’m also hoping to make a start on my next SPFBO book that I just posted about here.

The Fall of Koli looks really good. I keep seeing that one pop up here and there. I’m curious. 🙂

It’s a very fitting end to series. I’ve had my ups and downs a little with it but the ending was good, and bittersweet.

Looking forward to your reviews of Koli and Ladies of the Secret Circus! Hopefully being busy means you’re having fun😁

    • @lynnsbooks

Well, not sure it’s fun, I do seem to be saddling myself with ‘projects’ at the moment, things that take up a lot of time and leave you a bit exhausted.

I love that Bishop series and really need to read the first 4 again so I can continue. It’s been years since I read it and I STILL want a Weather Pony!

Hope you’ll enjoy The Unbroken more than me. It started off well, but then kinda slowed in the middle.

I still haven’t started it – I’ve been so slow the last couple of weeks. Last month I was absolutely on top and thought I might actually be in danger of catching myself up (or at least making good tracks) now, well, it’s all gone to hell in a handcart and I find myself looking at books that I was really excited about with a lot less enthusiasm. My reading mood is so up and down atm.

Thanks Evelyn. Hope you’re packing in some good reading too.

I’m waiting on my delivery of book three of Koli and then I’ll do a back to back read!

Good job getting caught up, Lynn! I find myself in the position of playing catch up now haha. I hope things have been going well!

Things are going okay. I’m catching up with review and now catching up with comments. Just going to do a bit more blog hopping tomorrow and maybe I’ll be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I shouldn’t have let myself get so far behind.
      Lynn 😀
