Another week speeds by and my consistency in forgetting to listen to my audio books is just amazing! So, no progress this week on Starsight even though I’ve had plenty of opportunity to listen when doing other things. I have read and enjoyed The Wolf’s Call and currently reading Crownbreaker.
- The Wolf’s Call by Anthony Ryan
What I’m reading next week:
- Crownbreaker by Sebastien deCastell
- Starsight by Brandon Sanderson (audio)
- The Memory Wood by Sam Lloyd
Upcoming Reviews:
- King of the Road by RS Belcher
- Queenlayer by Sebastien DeCastell
- The Absinthe Earl by Sharon Lynn Fisher
- King of Assassins by RJ Barker
- The Wolf’s Call by Sam Lloyd
I’d love to know what you’re reading this week.
Enjoy your week!

Thanks Evelyn and you too.
Lynn 😀
Ha ha, I got a new audiobook a couple of weeks ago but forgot I had it. I just don’t have a routine for audio yet. I can’t believe February is almost over and I still have so many Feb. books to read😬
I know – i’m the same. I need to remember to start a book when I’m doing things – and also to keep my phone charged!
Lynn 😀
Hey Lynn, I finished reading my two long-term reads and now I am getting caught up in the historical mystery, The Poison Bed by Elizabeth Fremantle. I also started The Favourite: Sarah, Duchess of Marlborough by Ophelia Field. Happy reading this week! 🙂
You too Jessica – I hope those books are terrific and look forward to reading your thoughts on them both.
Lynn 😀
Thank you 🙂
😀
Ooh The Wolf’s Call and The Memory Wood both look pretty good!
The Wolf’s Call was very good, I loved returning to read more of this world and Vaelin’s adventures. Just finishing the final in the Spellslinger series and then picking up The Memory wood – which I’m very excited to read, it’s had lots of good reviews.
Lynn 😀
Oof, The Wolf’s Call…I’ve almost forgotten I still need to read that!
Haha, with your book hauls I can imagine that would be easy to do! I have no idea how you keep track.
Lynn 😀
Ooh I look forward to those reviews 😀
Yes, I’m really looking forward to finishing these books – the Memory Wood sounds particularly good.
Lynn 😀
Glad you liked Wolf’s Call, looking forward to your review! Hope you’re having a good week, Lynn!
I am having a good week thanks and hope you are too.
Lynn 😀
Thanks! Other than work being a disaster it’s pretty good. 🙂
Sorry to hear about work. I hope it picks up for you. Is it just busy or is it other nonsense?
Oh, it’s a whole long story. Basically my boss is toxic, he’s like one of those bosses you see on a reality show about bad bosses or terrible small businesses. It’s a small ecommerce business. When I started here almost 5 years ago there were about 10 other employees, this week we’re down to 3 of us because he fired our warehouse guy suddenly and with no plan because that was a *great* idea lolol. Anyway, TL;DR – other nonsense. I’ve been looking for another job but will need to ramp up again so I guess that’s what my weekend will be focused on (in between reading of course)! 🙂
Work is such a big part of your life that it is important to be happy so just keep on looking. Fingers crossed for something amazing to fall into your lap. Other than a book!!
Thanks, Lynn!
