And there was another week, over in the blink of an eye.   I’ve had a good week, I’m still trying to catch up with lots of things but slowly but surely I’m getting a bit more organised.  I’ve read one book this week and really enjoyed it and I’m currently reading The Guest List by Lucy Foley and loving that too – I suspect I will finish this this evening so I’ll add it to my weekly reads.  Seriously, you couldn’t read two books that are further removed from each other in story and style and both really good. I was also hoping to finish listening to Starsight but every time I started doing something that would be perfect to listen to my audio book I simply forgot!  Anyway, here is my week in books:

  1. The Wolf of Oren- Yaro by K. S. Villoso
  2. The Guest List by Lucy Foley

What I’m reading next week:

  1. Crownbreaker by Sebastien deCastell
  2. Starsight by Brandon Sanderson (audio)
  3. The Wolf’s Call by Anthony Ryan

Upcoming Reviews:

  1. King of the Road by RS Belcher
  2. Queenlayer by Sebastien DeCastell
  3. The Absinthe Earl by Sharon Lynn Fisher
  4. King of Assassins by RJ Barker
  5. The Wolf of Oren- Yaro by K. S. Villoso
  6. The Guest List by Lucy Foley

I’d love to know what you’re reading this week.

Lynn, really pleased you have had two books in a row that you have loved/are loving! This is going to sound like a broken record, sorry, but I am still reading Christian non-fiction, No God But One by Nabeel Qureshi and re-reading the wonderful Far From the Madding Crowd by Thomas Hardy. On the bright side I am loving them both! Happy reading and I hope you enjoy the coming week. 🙂

I keep having the broken record feeling with some of my reads. I seem to keep meaning to read certain books but not getting on to it like I want.
      Lynn 😀

Looking forward to your thoughts on The Wolf of Oren-Yaro…can’t wait to read that one myself!

I found it really quite addictive and a bit surprising. Not what I was expecting in some respects and I had some little issues but I was compelled.
      Lynn 😀

Can’t wait to read your thoughts on The Guest List, and to get my copy from the library 😀

You know, I think it was better than the first. It has a lot of similarities in style but I expected that and I love the way everything ties in so well.
      Lynn 😀

I hope you enjoy Starsight! Happy reading 🙂

I’ve listened to quite a bit already, if I could just remember to pop in the earphones at every opportunity!
      Lynn 😀

  6. Barb @ Booker T's Farm

I read The Guest List this weekend and yep, it was a very quick read. I did really enjoy it though. Now to get my review ready for the blog tour!

Yeah, it was good. Great pacing and she really can hook you.
      Lynn 😀
