I’ve had another busy week – again, not really much reading or blogging unfortunately, it seems like the party season has begun and I’m being all kinds of sociable which leaves little time for reading. I’ve gone off plan and this week read the second in the tarot sequence books: The Hanged Man by KD Edwards which I will be reviewing soon.

So, here’s what I’ve been reading:

  1. The Hanged Man by KD Edwards

Next scheduled reads:

  1. Dispel Illusion by Mark Lawrence
  2. Angel Mage by Garth Nix
  3. Forever and a Doomsday by Laurence MacNaughton

Upcoming Reviews

  1. King of the Road by RS Belcher
  2. Queenlayer by Sebastien DeCastell
  3. The Absinthe Earl by Sharon Lynn Fisher
  4. The Hanged Man by KD Edwards

I’d love to know what you’re reading this week.

I’ve been slowly moving through Red Mars. I only have 152 pages left and I really need to just grind it out. I’m ready to read something different.

  2. Tammy

Looking forward to your review of The Hanged Man. I really loved it😁 And it is getting hard to read these days. So much happening, visits with family, shopping, and my daughter finally comes home from Spain in a couple of weeks!

    Enjoy your reading!

Being social and taking a break from blog stuff can be good though! My husband just started the first book of that Mark Lawrence series, I told him he better hurry up since the others are out already lol. Good luck with your reading this week, Lynn!

Thanks and you too. I hope your husband enjoys the ML books – I’ve started Dispel Illusion and it’s very good so far – plus a very quick read.
      Lynn 😀

I hope you are able to relax and enjoy your new reads:)). I look forward to hearing what you make of Queenslayer, Lynn.

    • @lynnsbooks

Yes, I’ve been sitting on that review for a while – need to press on. It wasn’t my favourite book out of the series but I still enjoyed it.
      Lynn 😀

I’d agree with that – it wasn’t my favourite, either. But I’m very happy to continue reading. I want to know how he’ll wrap the whole series up.

Yikes, so many November-December releases I still need to read, and Doomsday, Dispel Illusion, and Hanged Man are among them. Dammit, this is supposed to be my catch up month for stuff I missed in spring/summer, lol!

    • @lynnsbooks

Yes, I thought I’d be able to do some catching up but it’s not quite working that way so far.
      Lynn 😀

  7. Barb @ Booker T's Farm

I know Tammy loved The Hanged Man so whenever I see it, I think of her. I’m trying to squeeze in reading with all the holiday prep. There’s never enough time and why do I always seem to forget how hectic Christmas gets!

    • @lynnsbooks

Yep, that’s my problem too. I always think December will be a great time to catch up but it’s really just too busy.
      Lynn 😀

I have been too social as well and not managed to finish any books in the last week, Lynn! Oh well, here’s hoping we find a little more time this week. Happy reading! 🙂
