How fast did this week go by!  Really, what is up with that.  Anyway, in other news I managed to cross a few reviews off my list, complete a couple of SPFBO books and read one of my scheduled books as well as joining The Tower Team as part of an event to highlight the forthcoming release of The Hanged Man by KD Edwards (details here).

So, here’s what I’ve been reading:

  1. Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo
  2. Never Die by Rob J Hayes
  3. The Blade Within by Jackson Lear

Next scheduled reads:

  1. Angel Mage by Garth Nix
  2. Forever and a Doomsday by Laurence MacNaughton

SPFBO update:

I’ve read

  1. From the Shadows of the Owl Queen’s Court by Benedict Patrick and need to review it.

I’ve read Never Die by Roy Hayes

I’ve read The Blade Within by Jackson Lear

The Blade

I now need to complete:

  1. Vortex Visions by Elise Kova
  2. River of Thieves by Clayton Snyder
  3. Sir Thomas the Hesitant and the Table of the Less Valued Knights by Liam Perrin

Upcoming Reviews

  1. King of the Road by RS Belcher
  2. Queenlayer by Sebastien DeCastell
  3. The Absinthe Earl by Sharon Lynn Fisher
  4. From the Shadows of the Owl Queen’s Court by Benedict Patrick
  5. Dark Pattern by Andrew Mayne
  6. Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo
  7. Never Die by Rob J Hayes
  8. The Blade Within by Jackson Lear

I’d love to know what you’re reading this week.

I really hope to pick up Ninth house soon!
    Enjoy your reading!

    I’m loving these gorgeous covers!

I can’t wait to hear what you think of Never Die! And I just got a copy of Ninth House. I’ll probably read it next month, I’m excited.

I really enjoyed Ninth House – it’s definitely not YA though and very different from her previous books. Very adult themes that might be disturbing for some readers and quite in depth world building, plus a litle slow to really take off. But I loved it. Dark, different, I loved the setting and the main character.
      Lynn 😀

I wish I read enough in a week to make it worth posting weekly wrap ups! I envy your time management…

    • @lynnsbooks

Haha – don’t envy it, I’m all over the place and have to make these posts to try and stay on track. It doesn’t always work.
      Lynn 😀

It looks as though it’s been a great reading week, Lynn. I have always liked the look of From the Shadow of the Owl Queen’s Court and hope it is as good as that gorgeous cover… I hope the coming week is also a good one:)

I’m hoping to post three SPFBO reviews fairly soon and I’m completing the final three now. Then the decision!
      Lynn 😀

Curious to hear your thoughts on Angel Mage! And goodness, the month is half over and I still have so much to read including Doomsday and Ninth House. I’m looking forward to making the most of my December for “catch-up” month 😛

    • @lynnsbooks

Yes, I’m hoping for the same – catch up December.
      Lynn 😀

Looking forward to your thoughts on Ninth House I’m starting Angel Mage too once I’m done with Full Throttle by Joe Hill.
    Enjoy your books 🙂

    • @lynnsbooks

I thought Ninth House was very good, very grown up, definitely not YA, it takes it’s time settling in because there are some good concepts tht need to be worked into the story but I thought it was great.
      Lynn 😀

Looks like a pretty good week. I have *just* got my copy of Angel Mage in the mail last night so I’m hoping to start on that this weekend as I promised a review for it. 🙂
