Well, it’s Halloween and we all know what that means, pumpkins and scary movies – no! Well… maybe  Yet another month has reached an end and I don’t want to start a flat out panic but Christmas is less than two months away.  I’ve had a shockingly bad month in terms of blogging and reading and can only apologise to all the wonderful publishers for not getting to some of the fantastic books that I’d hoped to read and also to all you lovely bloggers who I didn’t have the chance to visit.  Unfortunately I was without wifi for a couple of weeks and whilst you might think this would make me have more time for reading and really help me to focus it instead pushed me into a kind of stupor.  I read little and became totally lethargic towards everything and to be even more honest, even now though I’ve got the internet back, fully restored, it’s almost a struggle to get back to myself again.  I think it’s probably because I feel hopelessly behind now after having felt that I was getting quite on top of things.  Still, enough about me.  Books!  I did manage to read 7 books (which includes my current read which I should complete by the end of the month.  I also read the first 30% of my fourth batch of books and posted feedback here – rolling forward three books for further investigation and I’ve started my fifth and final batch of books.  I’ll post my month in review tomorrow along with a much needed book review post.  So, here’s my month in covers:

Sorry about your wifi issues – I hate it when that happens… And I also hate it when you return to a mountainous amount of emails and that sense of drowning because there’s simply no way you can catch up… I hope you get back your groove in due course, Lynn:).

The covers looks fantastic and I hope that November is a good reading month for you:)).

Thanks Sarah, slowly but surely I’m catching up. I think the trick for me is to not overthink it – if I start really thinking about it then it makes me feel miserable being so behind and then I just sort of stop – and get further behind. LOL
      Lynn 😀

Oh, you’re absolutely right not to overthink it. Life happens and there are times when the blog just has to come second. Sometimes you can catch up – and others, you just let it go:)).

October was a rough reading month for me. I love the cover of The Beautiful!

    • @lynnsbooks

The cover for the Beautiful is lovely – very eye catching indeed.

What month, half of it with no internet! I’d go crazy… I’m glad things are on the upswing. I can’t wait to hear what you thought about The Beautiful and The Absinthe Earl😁

    • @lynnsbooks

No internet did in fact send me a little crazy. I did try to use my phone at first but then it all felt like too much hassle and I just slumped.

Ooh, this month’s cover collage is especially colorful!

I know – I love putting all the covers together at the end of the month.

Lynn, I’m sorry to hear that your wifi issues have set you back and left you feeling lethargic. I felt exactly the same when I broke my foot – I had all this time on my hands but no interest or passion for it. Don’t feel too bad, I’m sure you’ll be back on top soon and seven books is still a good amount, and they have some really pretty covers. 🙂

    • @lynnsbooks

Yeah, its odd really, I had plenty of time but just lacked oomph so I know exactly how you must have felt.
      Lynn 😀

Glad to hear that you have WiFi back and everything! Can totally see how it could cause a sort of lethargic feeling. Hope you can get back into the swing of your usual way of things, and your month still seemed to have some very interesting reads in it nonetheless.

    • @lynnsbooks

Yeah, it’s taking a little time to get back on track but I have fairly quiet months for November and December so hopefully I’ll get back on track.
      Lynn 😀

Even with everything you still got to quite a few books. Hope that your November is better, Lynn!
