August : My Month in Covers

Hi everyone, hope you’ve all had a lovely August with lots of sunshine and socialising.  I’ve had a good month in terms of reading.  I’ve been a bit more focused and although I do have a few reviews yet to schedule I’m kind of on track so all good.  Plus I’ve provided my feedback on the second month of SPFBO books and chosen two books to read fully one already reviewed here and another review to follow tomorrow).  My next batch of books will be highlighted on Monday.  So, here is my month in covers:

I packed a lot in this month. Don’t know how or why but I was more focused. I need to keep my eye more on the schedule!

Thanks – I was very focused this month – hope I can keep it up next month because I still have a lot of books on my shelf.

What a lovely lot of covers, Lynn:)). And there are two amongst them that I’ve also read – Brightfall and Kingdom of Souls, both of which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Look forward to reading your reviews for those two – see if we have similar opinions or not.

Looks like you had a packed month! I’m looking forward to your thoughts on Missing Person.

I enjoyed it – not as much as her previous two, but I think I went into the read with similar expectations and I wouldn’t call Missing Person horror – more mystery/thriller or at most subtle horror, the type that could be really happening. I do like her writing though. Her books are very easy to get along with and addictive even.

Looks like a fantastic month! 13 books is a lot. Looks like a good mix of books too.

I was happy with the amount of books – now of course I have to fit all these reviews in.
