Now I know my A, B, C, won’t you read along with me.

I borrowed this idea from Mogsy at the Bibliosanctum – (who borrowed it from Bionic Book Worm, who hosts the meme Top 5 Tuesdays where for the month of July the themed topics are books that start with a letter of the alphabet.  I decided, like the Bibliosanctum, to see if I could come up with an A-Z of books. As I’ve missed the July Theme this sounds like a way to still take part.  So here’s my A-Z list of books – this is not some sort of definitive ‘best of’ list.  Just an A-Z to see if I could come up with books for each – as it is, I couldn’t find a book that I’ve read beginning with ‘x’ – but there are some mighty find books on here so feast your eyes on my A-Z:

Very cool! I’m definitely doing this as well. Great choices, and you’ve even given me some ideas for my own list😁

    • @lynnsbooks

I have to confess that I changed my list about three times – and then I realised this isn’t a best of list – they’re all books that I like of course, but the challenge is to find titles from A-Z – and of course I failed being unable to come up with a book for X. I look forward to seeing your list.
      Lynn 😀

  2. Mogsy @ BiblioSanctum

I’m so glad you decided to do this too! I had a lot of books on this list that I wanted to put on my list, but in some cases it got edged out 😀

    • @lynnsbooks

I know what you mean – I changed my mind three times with most of these!
      Lynn 😀

  3. Zezee

Lol almost all your books here are ones I want/need to read, like I Am Legend and the Juliet Marillier book, Kushiel’s Dart, Jane Steele, and Prince of Thorns. Great list!

    • @lynnsbooks

Thanks – and of course that’s the problem isn’t it – we can’t read all the books, there simply isn’t enough time, but we can all keep plugging away at our favourites in the meantime.
      Lynn 😀

This is a great list. I think I’ve read about a quarter of these and a bunch of others are on my list (like Zoo City, which I hope to get to this Fall).

Ah cool! I really love both Tammy’s and your lists – very tempted to try this out … although I think it’s going to be a struggle! 😀

    • @lynnsbooks

Well, I failed on the letter ‘x’ – that was a tough one. I hope you give it a shot – I would be keen to see what you come up with.
      Lynn 😀

  6. jessicabookworm

Very pleased to see The Lord of the Rings and Jane Steele made onto the list 😀 I love the idea of this… if only I had time!

    • @lynnsbooks

NGL – it was quite time consuming, but I enjoyed it all the same.
      Lynn 😀
