This has been a lovely week. The weather has been glorious and the sun has beamed down on us all over the Easter holiday. I’ve managed to read three books and start my fourth and I’ve caught up with a number of reviews. Here’s my week in review:
My books:
- Emily Eternal by M G Wheaton
- A Boy and His dog at the End of the World by CA Fletcher
- Storm of Locusts by Rebecca Roanhorse
Next week’s reads:
- Little Darlings by Melanie Golding
- Ruthless Magic by Megan Crewe
- Girls with Sharp Sticks by Suzanne Young
Upcoming reviews:
- Emily Eternal by M G Wheaton
- A Boy and His dog at the End of the World by CA Fletcher
- Storm of Locusts by Rebecca Roanhorse
I’d love to know what you’re reading this week.
I’m dying to read Girls with Sharp Sticks 😍, I hope you enjoy all your readings 💕
Can’t wait to hear what you thought of A Boy and his Dog and Storm of Locusts😁
Thanks for sharing these titles – I’m at that sweet spot between just finishing a book and deciding which on my pile I will pick up!
It’s kinda cool how all the books you read this week have covers with sort of an orange “blaze” effect in the background 😛
I know. I thought exactly the same thing. I live it when my covers conspire to match up in that way. Lynn 😄
ooh, Emily Eternal sounds really good, I need that ASAP! love me a story with AI ❤
I hope you enjoy it. 😄
Girl with sharp sticks really grabs my interest every time I see it! Curious to your thoughts!

It has gripped me. I read half of it in one sitting yesterday! I kept just thinking ‘one more chapter’. Lynn 😄
Oh the wonderful weather we have been having! I have treated myself to several afternoons reading in the garden, which has helped me finish Love Wins by Rob Bell and I am a whisker away from finishing Guards! Guards! by Terry Pratchett too 😀 Here’s to more sunshine and reading!
Guards! Guards is on my tbr – soon.
Lynn 😀
It is definitely one of my favourite Discworld novels. Enjoy! 😀
That’s great encouragement indeed.
Lynn 😀
Oh wow, three books is a fantastic week. Yay to nice weather! Right now I’m reading pretty much the same things as last week, again. 😅
Three books did feel good – although I’d already started one when the week began 😀
I’m reading The Binding right now and really liking it so far–though it’s still early and things might change. Looking forward to your thoughts on Boy and His Dog!
I really liked the first two stages of The Binding. The final stage lost me a little but overall I still enjoyed the book.
Lynn 😀
