Weekly Wrap Up : 31/03/19
Hope everyone’s had a great week. My plans went a little off track this week in terms of reading but I still managed to read three books which I’m quite happy with. I read both my SPFBO books and the scores and reviews will follow shortly plus the announcement of my next two books. So here’s my weekly wrap up:
My books:
- Aching God (Iconoclasts #1) by Mike Shel
-
The Raven’s Tale by Cat Winters
- Sowing (The Purification Era #1) by Angie Grigaliunas
Next week’s reads:
- The Binding by Bridget Collins
- A Time of Blood by John Gwynne
Upcoming reviews:
- Aching God (Iconoclasts #1) by Mike Shel
-
The Raven’s Tale by Cat Winters
- Sowing (The Purification Era #1) by Angie Grigaliunas
I’d love to know what you’re reading this week.
I’m going to be reading The Binding next month as well. It sounds so good!
Just started it so fingers crossed.
Lynn 😀
Ah yes, the Binding’s release is coming up isn’t it? I’ll probably be reading that one too sometime in the next week or so, joining you and Tammy 🙂
I’ve just started it. Too early yet to tell but fingers crossed.
Lynn 😀
Lynn, I had another good week, finishing two books: The Death of Western Christianity by Patrick Sookhdeo and my re-read of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins. I also started reading The Tudor Crown by Joanna Hickson and Howards End by E. M. Forster. Happy reading in the coming week. 🙂
Happy reading to you too 😀
Thank you 🙂
Ooh how did you like The Raven’s Tale? I’m hoping to start it next week!
Well, it’s a mixed one for me, it’s beautifully written, almost poetic and with lots of poetry included throughout. Dark and gothic. A bit unusual. But, I’m not really a fan of poetry. I like Poe but I’m more interested in his stories so this will probably work better for others. It was very quick – but it felt a little bit light in some ways.
I hope you love it though.
Lynn 😀
I admit, I’m not the biggest fan of Poe’s poetry but I do love poetry in general (which you probably figured out from some of my posts :P) so I have a good feeling about this one! Thanks, Lynn!
I hope it really works well for you.
Lynn 😀
I have no idea what The Binding is about, but I’m digging that cover!
This week I am reading The Bird King & listening to Truly Devious on audiobook 🙂
I’ve just finished The Binding and it was absolutely gripping. Historical, low fantasy with great characters.
Lynn 😀
Three books in a week is still great! Hope you’re having a good week so far this week, Lynn. 🙂
Thanks – you too 😀
