Weekly Wrap Up : 24/03/19
Another week flies by and March is rushing past in a hurry. I didn’t have much time for reading this week unfortunately but I did manage to read Holy Sister – which was an excellent conclusion to the series and I’m almost half way into Aching God. So here’s my weekly wrap up:
My books:
- Holy Sister by Mark Lawrence
Next week’s reads:
- Aching God (Iconoclasts #1) by Mike Shel
- The Sword and the Dagger by Robert Cochran
- Sowing (The Purification Era #1) by Angie Grigaliunas
- Aching God by Mike Shel
Upcoming reviews:
- The Dollmaker by Nina Allan
- Holy Sister by Mark Lawrence
I’d love to know what you’re reading this week.
I’m still slowing making my way through Broken Monsters by Lauren Buekes, i’m doing a read along with a friend. Great book, so happy I bought a copy when I came across it a few years ago! i have been having like zero time for reading lately. 😦
I loved Broken Monsters – but then I really like Lauren Beukes so it’s not too big a surprise. I seem to have had zero time for reading lately too – don’t really know why – although I think sometimes I just get ‘stuck’ on a book and it really slows me down.
Lynn 😀
Your next week’s reads all look fabulous set side by side… I hope you enjoy them all, Lynn:)
I hope so too. I’ve nearly finished Aching God – about 25% left.
Lynn 😀
Hopefully enjoying it, too!
My week flew by too, Lynn! However I did manage to finish reading Lives of Notorious Cooks by Brendan Connell and Little Men by Louisa May Alcott. While I way over half way through The Death of Western Christianity by Patrick Sookhdeo and my re-read of Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins is nearly complete. Happy reading in the week to come! 🙂
Wow, you’re reading lots. I had a terrible week, a strange combination of too busy in other walks of life and an overall feeling of lethargy.
Hope this week works out better for me and i hope you have a great week too.
Lynn 😀
I can’t believe how fast March went, I didn’t get to half the books I wanted to😧 But it looks like you have a lot of good reading ahead next week!
I do have quite a lot of books for April and have been trying to get ahead – I sometimes feel like I’m the orchestrator of my own doom! Still – too many books is not really a probably I’m ever going to ‘really’ complain about.
Lynn 😀
I’m glad you thought Holy Sister was a good conclusion to the series! There is nothing worse than a bad ending!
It was an excellent conclusion it really was.
Lynn 😀
Looking forward to what you think of The Sword and the Dagger. I was *this* close to grabbing it off NetGalley, but for once I showed restraint, lol!
I know – I got carried away – I probably should have shown more restraint as I seem to have a lot of books with very similar publishing dates coming up over the next few weeks. Why, oh why, do I do these things to myself. Love of books, fear of missing out….
Lynn 😀
Judging by the covers, these look like awesome books… 🙂
Fingers crossed 😀
Looking forward to your thoughts on The Sword and The Dagger. Looks intriguing. 🙂
I’ve started it but it’s very early days.
Lynn 😀
