Weekly Wrap Up : 23rd September 2018
I didn’t do as well this week with my reading and blogging, primarily because we’ve had friends staying which has been really lovely. I’ve read Becky Chamber’s latest book. Read about 20% of Chris Wooding’s Ember Blade and also started Dracul. So, here’s my weekly wrap up:
My books:
- Record of a Spaceborn Few by Becky Chambers
Next week’s reads:
- The Ember Blade by Chris Wooding
- Creatures: The Legacy of Frankenstein by Emma Newman; Tade Thompson; Paul Meloy; Kaaron Warren; Rose Biggin
- Dracul Dacre Stoker; by J. D. Barker
Upcoming reviews: –
- Starborn by Lucy Hounsom
- Envy of Angels by Matt Wallace
- Noir by Christopher Moore
- The Burning Chambers by Kate Mosse
- Dark Water by Elizabeth Lowry
- The Sisters of the Winter Wood by Rena Rossner
- Trail of Lightning by Rebecca Roanhorse
- Record of a Spaceborn Few by Becky Chambers
I’d love to know what you’re reading this week.
I’m very curious to see how you like Dracul. I thought about requesting it but just had too many review books. I’m reading We Sold Our Souls right now and OMG it is SO GOOD!
Ooh, We Sold our Souls – I like the sound of that, ominous.
Lynn 😀
Looking forward to your review of Record of a Spaceborn Few! I’m still waiting for my copy. It got delayed 😦
I went for the audio book – I’m not sure that was the best choice for me personally as I’ve read the other two and I don’t thing changing format inbetween books is good for me – but, overall, it’s packed with great characters and family feels.
Lynn 😀
Ahhh! I’m the same way with the format thing. That’s good to know! I love this subgenre.
Friends are great. 🙂
Looking forward to your thoughts on the latest Chambers book.
I have so much catching up to do now though!
Lynn 😀
Like Tammy, I can’t wait to hear your thoughts about Dracul, or rather to… sink my canines into your review 😀
Haha – thanks.
Lynn 😀
This week, I’m hoping to do some catch up with a few summer releases. But of course, I may also indulge in something newer. Speaking of which, I can’t wait to hear your thoughts about Dracul, I caved and requested the audiobook and now I’m curious if I should start it sooner rather than later 😀
My reading plans have all gone crazy. The best laid plans…
I hope to read Dracul in October. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts.
Well, I’ve had to pick another book up now because my schedule was a little off but I’ll be getting to it soon.
Lynn 😀
